I'm sad to let you all know that Milly passed away this past friday April 26th. It's been a hard week but it helped me to chat with you all about it. I hope this video brings some comfort to those of you who have also lost a pet. Sending love xox

I am so sorry. I lost my little dog (Mia) on April 15th of this year. I know your pain. They add so much to our lives. Just know that you give her a very good life. She knew she was cherished. God Bless.

Hi Lilibet, I'm so sorry to hear that you have lost your beautiful Milly. I can imagine how sad you feel and I am amazed that you have been able to make this beautiful live stream about your experience, not something I could have done. We have had cats and other pets my whole life until 10 years ago. Cats are definitely my favourite as they are so intelligent, affectionate and have such great personalities. Our last cat, Millie, was adopted as an adult. I always felt that she was really grateful that we chose her when we could have had a kitten. She was so loving and always wanted to be snuggled up with us. Similar to you, we lost her when we were transitioning from one home to another. In her last year she had quite a few health issues and lost the use of her legs and control of her bladder. We had to have her euthanased but it was very peaceful. We are a little older than you and have kids and grandkids as well as grand-fur babies so we have decided not to have anymore pets. I am looking forward to your next post about Milly's life with you.
Thanks for those heartfelt words, Rena. From your experience with Millie and your other pets, you know exactly how this feels. I’m actually amazed I held it together for the live! But it felt easier than trying to create a polished video announcement. And all the sympathy and understanding I’ve received really has helped. But I did have some tears after. And I’m sure there will be more tears when I make the final farewell video ❤️❤️

We moved the ashes from our 4 cats from Kansas to Texas in 2021. We already know that when my husband passes that his 3 cats’ ashes will be intermingles with his ashes to be buried in our cemetery plot. And, when it is my time, my 2 cats will be intermingled with my ashes as well. My oldest lady (Sheba) was 21 years old and passed with kidney disease as well. .

So sorry to hear about Milly. We had 3 older cats (all approximately 12 years old) pass away in a 2 month period prior to our big move to Texas. It was so upsetting and stressful on top of the move. We still have our 8 year old Troubles..

Ooops I misspelled Mily's name.
My cat had kidney disease but he died f r om a stroke. I didn't know high blood pressure was part of it. It is hard I know since they are a big part of your life.
