Hi Dylan, I got it through referral too but when I head to "Software" section of the car's settings, it doesn't show "Acceleration Boost - Included" like it does when you buy it with $$$, can you verify if you have the same thing or it might be a bug on my end?
Keep in mind I do have it and the Pedal and Steering section shows "Sport". Just not in Software section
Mine shows acceleration boost included now, though I don’t recall seeing it earlier on. Maybe try restarting the car

We still drive on chill mode haha... Acceleration is fun for sure but when the speed limit here is 100km/h can't justify $3000 for it.

I believe it has to do with having the extra motor makes the hardware more like a performance model and so they just have to tune it

Does the acceleration boost affect the range?
I don’t think so assuming you drive the same. But if you’re accelerating more, it’ll be less efficient

I just got acceleration boost and it does have all three speed options like you describe. Its a 2023 model Y, not sure if that has anything to do with it

What car do you have? This only works for dual motor long range cars that have acceleration boost capabilities

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure how my title is disappointing. In the video I literally show you how to make a Tesla quicker using acceleration boost without paying any money
circling back to this, the title suggests anyone can do it for free.. which sure you can if you manage to actually get a referral. But as you stated acceleration boost is not free. only slightly click baiting. but I suppose that's the point of UA-cam and the only reason I even clicked on your video to begin with.
@vincentparker but anybody could do this for free if they get a referral. That’s the point of the video, I explain that there is this thing called acceleration boost and if you don’t want to pay for it, you can refer somebody and get the feature for free instead. I never imply in my title that there is no work involved, I just say that there is a way to get something that typically costs money for free. I really don’t see this as click bait because I pay off the entire premise of the title

Just curious, what about the video does not live up to the promise in the title? There is a paid software unlock called acceleration boost, and in the video I walk through the process of how to get it and enable it without spending money (for free)? You have to have a referral of course, but that shouldn’t cost you money.
