I'm enjoying watching this build. You can be fussy with certain things and not so much with others, but still get the job done, you have great passion for your car and your house, you have achieved so much in the time I have been watching and I almost envy what I see. Great job so far mate, appreciate the effort of filming and editing on top of what other things you have to do. Looking forward to the next episode.
Thanks for the feedback mate. I’m looking forward to getting it running. I enjoy the video editing and having this Channel keeps me focused on finishing the job. Cheers mate. 🤙
Awesome work mate! spewing about the starter and extractors, such a pain in the backside when those things clash, think I had a starter that did that once, for the life of me I can't recall what I did to fix it
Well it looks like I’ve saved $38 then hey 😂😂 All good. The connections feel very solid but I probably would have bought one if I knew it was only $38. Yeah used the shims etc. Needs modifying unfortunately. I’m spewin!
@@htmonaroamateurbuild9267 you can/should still use the crimper, over what youve done, the crimp looks neat, and holds better, Did my hq coupe, battery in boot, etc, i had same problem also with starter fitting, found that cvr fitted best,
Well done mate, steaming ahead but I know it feels like that road dont end..lol........ bugga about the starter, bloody pain in ars hey. I noticed you stayed with the original gear box cross member over the rod shop one I saw you purchased in a previous ep, didnt fit as good?
Thanks mate. I didn’t really get a chance to play with it properly. Visually you could see the mounting rubber from the existing cross member wasn’t tall enough for the new cross member. We’ve gotta pull the box to install the clutch so I’ll have another look at it then. 👍👍

Awesome build mate, wondering how well the gearbox fitted in there? how does the shifter line up to factory hole? Any tunnel work required? Cheers
G’day yeah had to reconstruct the tunnel to fit the gearbox in. It’s a little wider but length is about the same. Cheers 🤙
is it a TKO or a TKX box ?
It’s the older TKO
