Beautiful work, so then actual sign size is a 5 inches wide and 10 feet high?
I think I would do welcome on one side and GO AWAY on the other. Then I could flip it depending on my mood! 😬😂

I like the Welcome distressed look. I've made signs like these with left over Laminate planks. I use stencils and have made them for friends and family . Everyone loves them 😎

The idea of using the sign to make letters is exactly what i needed! Im making a barn board porch leaner that is hard to stencil on without the paint bleeding, plus I can't find a stencil I really like. I hope Dollar Tree will still carry signs like these! Loved the idea of using the contact paper too!

What a brilliant project!!!!!Thank you for the printable....the combo of Tuscan red with white and black= beautiful colour. Moss letters o.m.g 😀..... sanding makes all the difference. I painted a small birdhouse the other day and the sanding just gave it depth if that makes sense. Look out Home Depot ( my hubby will love a trip to Home Depot 😉).......thank you again Megan. It's crazy how small details or small adjustments can make the biggest differences while crafting! I couldn't find the words during the voice over but you said it.... The sanding definitely adds the right amount of depth. Much love to you Jaci ❤❤❤

@@GlueGunsRoses I think some dry brushing would be nice to soften the edges of the letters and bring out the cracks and imperfections that are already in the wood.
Super cute! When you made the SPRING sign, I was waiting for you to paint some free hand flowers on top of stems on the bottom. Im going to try this. I got long, dark stained wood planks off f.b. marketplace for FREE one time. I believe they were planks from a bed bottom, in their former life. I answered that add bc I just (knew) they'd come in handy at (some) point in my DIY life.

Home is my fav but love them all. Your dry bushing is amazing, home sign needs it. I think it gives that finishing touch on the project tyfs 🐦🌻
I agree. But I haven't done it yet because I'm not sure if I should lightly distress with a brown to match the contact paper of a black? What do you think?

I have 5 Dollar Trees within 30 minutes, and I went to all of them to find the reindeer moss for an Easter craft and then I absolutely hated working with it & swore that I never would again, but your sign makes it tempting if I found more of it....so cute! I have some pressed wood pieces in my garage from where I took my old cabinet apart. I was thinking I could make a sign like this by painting or covering it with wood contact paper. I love these signs you made.
