So do think I should have put the larger wreath I put over my garage higher up on the list or am I a biased wreath lover? 😬
Everyone was Beautiful thank you for sharing
@@ellenbarnette2080 you are too kind ❤️
Nope, it looks great, trust me when I say you know how to decorate.
Should have been higher!! It's awesome!!!
@@GlueGunsRoses you’re the best! Love everything you do! ❤
I just Love Christmas! I feel like I'm 5 years old again.
Great idea Megan. I have to spread my shopping over two or three supermarkets now its crazy. Shelves are empty every time I go, everyone better prepare themselves for recession 2023. I think stores better have tight security because when people can't afford to feed their families, things might get out of hand.
I wish we were back in the 50’s or something.
You are so right about next year, Here in California I am due to retire and I am very stressed about what comes in 2023. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it especially when you cant work anymore. it gets tougher by the day.
@@mitchel8329 I also own some passive assets on my own, I started in june, doing pretty good so far but could be much better in terms of returns. I just wish I was as smart as you, I would have a much better budget for my retirement savings by now.
@@mitchel8329 I think it's especially difficult for newbies doing it all alone. I wouldn't mind looking up your advisor please, I've been looking into hiring one as well.
@@mitchel8329 I searched with his name on the web and came across his site, quite impressive. Thanks a bunch for sharing this.
After Christmas, and throughout the year, any time I see someone giving away an artificial Christmas tree I get it. Cut all the branches off and you've got pics for days in various lengths which are especially handy in the DIY projects that you use several pics to make it more full or "bushy". Wire or zip tie them together and your garlands look like real branches. Don't attach them end to end but somewhere in the middle or third of the way through, and it will really look like it's natural.
LOVE your ideas and can't wait to hit dollar tree! (I am quite the DIY'er and used to own a design company specializing in Christmas and found so many ways to use Dollar tree products to extend my budget and create the wow factor. Your videos truly have inspired me!!)
I saw a similar suggestion a couple of months ago ... 2 weeks after the church threw out one of their old artificial trees! I kicked myself then for not thinking of it, and reading your comment has renewed my regret!
I love bird decorations, in white and red. Usually doves and cardinals with sparkles and feathers. Then crystal snowflakes and rustic antique looking silver ornaments. I actually have the old fashion bubble lights as well, in white. Love those.
Thirty-three minutes for 25 DIYs? Outstanding!!! I love the way each project is presented without all of the obvious ("Pick up your glue gun and...?) steps. You were succinct and easy to follow! Keep your wreath right where it is. 😊 Thank you for sharing your talent!!!
I love that you make giant decorations. Makes me think of a former coworker who used to say, “Go big or stay home.” Love your ideas.
You get an A+ from this retired teacher. Your projects are great ideas. I like your energy.
Thank you. I am 71 yrs old. Thanks for not using the word “YOU GUYS”.
You, my dear, are wonderful! I just lost my mom 5 months ago. I am 55, with 3 children ( raising my grandchildren), and one is 14,6,and 8 months. Christmas was go in the potty this year. Not feeling it. But you just reminded me of my little babies 1st Christmas! The lights and wreaths and the reds!❤ I have to! I have to😊 Thank you 🙏
Thanks girl!!! I love your diys so much!!!!!❤
I am amazed at your endless creative ideas! This did NOT feel like a 32 minute craft video! Thank you for all you do!
I absolutely can't wait to make a gnome from a bucket. Amazing, even baby booties sticking out the front. I can't wait to make some. I am overwhelmed with the stuff with all the the cherry cominstuff colors. I am disabled now so spend my days till spring stuck in this bed. I make greeting cards for cancer patients. I wasn't sure my being here was worth the waste of funds and time, but I found a way to help others.
Or make the Gnome on a mason jar and you can unscrew the top to put battery lights inside. If you use a red ornament for the nose, it lights up. I really love your Gnome as well.
So cute, I love the long necklace for the tree.
You and I have a lot in common, I'm a very traditional person when it comes to Christmas, or all things. I love watching and seeing what you have up your sleeves. Thank you so much for all your talents.
That's so wonderful, thanks
Thank you, thank you! I have been wanting to make the big wreath on your garage but couldn't remember the details and, although Ihave rewatched almost every video, I hadn't found it. My husband wants this for the door of our of the garden shed. After watching your old videos, I now have a long list of projects I love and want to complete. Thank you for being so talented and thrift minded.
Finally a crafter that uses spray paint. A lot of other crafters use milk, chalk paint or other kinds of paint that really looks awful and probably takes awhile to dry. Spray paint is easy, gets in all the little crevices and you can get it in a shiny or mat finish. And will save you time and looks so much better. Thank you for bringing crafting into the modern era.
In their defense, spray paint is more toxic and difficult to do if it's cold outside and you live in an apartment. I like spray paint for painting plastic or metal being used outdoors. But honestly, I probably knocked at least a few months off my life from all the fumes from all the cans of spray paint over the course of my life 😢
Finally! Christmas gifts for the hoarder in your life.
I always enjoy your Christmas DIYs and sometimes even rewatch your older ones, so this review is great. Thank you, such terrific ideas.
I with you on the traditional red and green Christmas decor, classic! Love the video! I work at a radio station so I’ll be making those cute little star music sheet ornaments for our tree! They’re perfect! ❤🎄
The comment above pretending to be me is a scam
You have become my favorite to watch! You're fast paced and I don't end up fast forwarding through any of your videos and I love you're ideas they never look cheap.
This is the first Dollar Tree diy/hack video that I didn't think everything looked cheap and tacky. These are really good ideas. Great job!
I also love the traditional Christmas colors. It's just a classic look that says a lot !! Thank you for these
Megan! You make me laugh! Every time you say “if you’re still with me” I smile! I look so forward to your videos, the last thing on my mind is dropping off early!
This video was rejuvenating. This year I had no “umph” for the holidays. But you’ve inspired me!! Your crafts are so lovely and so “doable” - I’m rooting through my stash of who knows what.
Thank you, my friend. I truly love your work. ❤️
Thank you Jacqui & so much love to you my friend ❤️

Several years ago I took a clear ornament and added a grandchild’s photo inside, placed a bow on the top and gave to the mother and father for Christmas. They seemed to be very happy with the gift.
Omg the ball sphere with the bow on it gave me such a good idea!!! Add some fake garland in the inside add some twinkling lights and a fake candle in the middle. I can see it in my head.
I refuse to start Christmas decorating now, but you make me want to start DIYing decor! Number 11, the name tags have to be one of my favorites (as of right now, I’m still watching) 🙃 Thank you for sharing!
Hello:
Just wanted to say that I watch lots & lots of crafters this time of year, but this the first time I've watched you. You are incredible. You just whip out those ideas so quick, and they are so simple, and still look high end. You use very few supplies and yet they turn out beautiful. I can't wait to get started with a few ideas I got from you! Thank you so much for your videos! Thanks for the gifts, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Carol K.
Took me 1 video to fall in love with her too (and sub😉)!! Welcome❤🙏🏾
You will refer to Megan more than the other crafters.
Y'all are making me blush.
Thanks so much. This always gets my daughter who's in high school want to hang out with me and do crafts.
Megan, to me there is nothing better than findging what you saved. I am a huge fan of
ALL of your projects are absolutely wonderful. I’m not a crafter, so I enjoy watching creative people like you do your magic.
If that doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will! Love the garland, and the wood piece wreath, and the beaded wreath....you get the idea. Loved them all! Thanks for your inspiration!
I love all these ideas! This year, my tree is being done in precious moments and angel wings.
I absolutely love the fact that you use black in your designs!
I love the really large wreath ideas. It is great to use for larger spaces/outdoors and won't break the bank.
Wow Megan. Your large tree snow flakes is totally awesome and easy to make. I love it !!!
I don't use the words cheaply made when referring to my projects as i dont want anyone to think cheep. I call them inexpensively made and high end looking
I love these, great ideas, I'm short on money this year and this helps. I'm 67 and still a Christmas child!
Nice ideas me again.
I’ve been a “ hey I can make that, and cheaper” guy all my life. I’m now in my late 30’s and make a lot of Christmas gifts. Thanks for your upbeat down home instruction. I’m 30+39 real late 30’s. Thanks Megan
Ok so… I have been crafting and painting professionally for years now and I have to tell you this top 25 is amazing. I was more and more impressed the more I watched! You GO GIRL!!! Outstanding!!!
Wow! I so appreciate everything you've showed us in this video . I watch these DIY vids and I think the ideas are useless, cheap looking, complicated, time consuming or too expensive, but everything you presented was useful, beautiful , sensible, durable for years, cost effective, time reasonable, acessable, and easy enough for a caveman to do lol. You explain it all so well at a good pace. I love that you get right to the point ,step by step. Thank you so much! You have real talent for teaching and crafting.
It does get redundant watching DIY channels who mock each other’s ideas. They just change the color or patterns and maybe the foliage.
Meagan, you're a doll. I enjoyed your video. I'm a grandma who loves crafts and you're just fun. Keep at it girl.
Your crafts are so cute and don't look cheap!! But yet it's cost effective
Love all of these!! Definately got inspired!! My favorite was the last one!! Simple yet so elegant!! TYSMFS!!
I really loved the last idea too. Simple, cheap and not cheesy diys are my favorite types of diys❤️
WOW, this video stands out as a WINNER to me! Your ideas are creative, unique, original & beautiful!! Your presentation & instructions are clear & easy to follow. I’ve watched thousands of Christmas DIYs on UA-cam, I wasn’t sure I wanted to see one more … especially Dollar Tree one where they turn out like everyone else’s .
I wanted to write this review before I was even finished watching because I was so impressed! You can paint vinyl sticker letters?!? Great idea!!
The laundry basket / tree basket blew me away!! You’re clever and talented .. you’re ideas stand out in the crowd of UA-camrs. Congratulations on this video I’ll be watching, learning and crafting with you !!! Love this!! ❤
I love the color gold too,& silver..
I love how you just get to it. No senseless chatter.
You really know how to make everything so easy and beautiful! I love your videos. Too many to choose from so I would have to say all the wreaths. Just keep those videos coming! ❤
Okay Megan, I'm 61 years old and even I think the term Mama Jama is old but I can't remember who used to say it? Was it the Prince of Bel-Air? Every time you say that you crack me up! By the way you're the spitting image of my mother when she was a young woman. She's been gone since 1994 but I would love her to see you. But she was in her early twenties she bleached her hair and she was a knockout! You are as well. The reason I'm telling you about her bleach blonde hair is because it looks so beautiful on her so if you ever want to change hair colors I would recommend going blonde. I wish I could send you a picture. And also I would love to compliment you on this fast moving and very clever craft video! It's fun to watch and the outcome of each craft is fantastic! You were smart to use items they sell every year too. Hopefully this video will be around for a long long time! Oh, happy Halloween LOL
I actually was a bleach blonde for years! Like not just blonde highlights, but so bleach blonde I was 2 steps away from looking trashy! 😂 When I stopped teaching to be a play at home mom I colored my hair red because it was something fun the school district never would have allowed.
So much love to you my sweet friend ❤️
-Megan
@@GlueGunsRoses mom never looked trashy and she did not have highlights either she was a bleach blonde! It's all how you wear it! I'm a redhead myself these days! Being 61 though I have to go a little more with the Auburn. Again, this is an excellent video! Usually when I see simple crafts they look cheap and yours do not they never do so I hope you read this message!
@@vlrissolo I got your comment, girlfriend! You are too kind ❤️
@@GlueGunsRoses mamma jamma I thought was said by the JJ Walker on Good Times
You always make such fabulous things!!!!! Love the giant wreath idea!!!! ❤
I say this every time I watch one of your videos - I wish we were neighbors! Love your style and attitude and in my mind, I think we'd be great friends! Lol
Thanks for the great inspiration!
Where have you been all of my life!!!! You're a genius!
I LOVE how adaptable your crafts are...if you're woodsy, more pinecones to go with the bells, easy to adapt colors for Hanukkah or Kwanza, go nuts with the glitter, whatever!...everyone can find a creative outlet here

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
I love how customizable most of these are! I can never find any advent decorations. By changing the colors or words I can actually decorate for advent this year! ☺️
The altar guild ladies at my church are great about this ... for the big flower pots at our front entrance, they change out the embellishments and bows for every season, including between Advent and Christmas. I'm looking at the big ornaments in the videos, and pondering adding them to the tree next to the entrance, but being able to switch out the colours on them too...
You are my favorite DIYer. I look forward to your new videos every year. I think it’s because I love how you talk saying “my friend” and “y’all”, while giggling the whole time. You’re so cute and you have great taste in decorating.
You're extremely good at this all the way around...from your great ideas to your videos and the way you explain how to's. Awesome job!!!!!!!
For any decopodge craft (except plastic), you can also use a lighter to remove the excess paper. Leaves a cool “burnt edge” look!
I have watched sooo many Christmas DIY videos and I truly appreciate your style and low cost plus high impact DIYS above and beyond ALL others 🤷
You have really brought my enthusiasm to a greater level after watching your video and showing me I can have beautiful decorations even on my budget!!! And they really do look higher end!! Now to bring back another "old quote" (a song)
" You dropped a bomb on me" 🤭
I think it was a song from the 80's 😂
Thank you for sharing these wonderful ideas!
Thanks for inspiration
I am a 91 year old crafter who loved ALL of your Christmas decorations and you used most of your supplies from my favorite store. Thank you for sharing. I make anything and everything for Christmas and I plan to use some of your ideas. Looking for more. God bless.
lot of pink ,red ,white n silver this year for me, looks so lovely on my porch
Love this! Made 4 gnomes. I had to use the small planter, and added some feet. Super cute! Thank you!
How did you add feet?
Megan, I totally agree with everything that everybody else has said. I don't think I could have said it any better. Love, love, love your videos!!! 🌲❤️🌲
This video was well planned and informative. I appreciate that you didn’t show every detail on how to make them and keeping the footage short but direct. I love watching all creative crafters but when some videos are one to two plus hours long I get a bit frustrated (I know some people will disagree and need to see every step). Love all designs and your method. TYFS your ideas and creativity.
You could also add a few Xmas lights on the wreath that is so pretty and creative
I always love how simple and cute your diys are!! And always reminding everyone to customize -- we don't all need the same colors for everything 💖
Megan, your DIYs are the best on UA-cam. They’re always gorgeous, classy, and so high-end looking. I also love how well you explain your processes. I only wish you made more videos!!! ❤😁
I really like your ideas. Simple enough for me to try. I'm not much of a crafter, but I love this stuff!
Still ‘with you’ at top 10 of 25 DIY Dollar Tree video! I LOVE everything I’ve seen!
I adore your videos!!! But I never have enough of them! You are my absolutely favorite DIYer- style, creativity, everything. Thank you Megan!!😊🙏 🎄
Haha! I totally love wreaths and make more than I can possibly use 😂 Love love love the huge wreath, obviously!! Definitely doing it for our first Christmas in our new home!
These TOTALLY DON'T LOOK CHEAP!!! Most of these videos turn out 😶... Very inspirational... I'm coming back when I start... Extra large items👍🏽💗🙏🏽
Now how in the world did I never know about your channel? I hang on UA-cam all the time and this was the first time you came up on my feed! I am now a new subscriber. Truly enjoyed all the ideas, but my fave was the floral wired ornament bead garland. Clever and classy! And although the outside of my house is traditionally red and green, walking into my house is a HUGE change as I decorate inside with champagne, ivory, pinks, silvers and golds. Since it is just me now, I can use my favorite color pink and no one complains. I. LOVE. IT. And my dogs could not care less. Thanks for the ideas! I will have a great time catching up on all your diy videos now. Merry Christmas, my creative friend!
Love the wood wreath, I'm thinking of using corks. And my favorite is the wreath hanger transformation. Thanks for all the great ideas!
Hello Megan. As usual, I loved, loved, loved this video!!! Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to try a lot of these DIY’S! By the way… I’m a 64 year old nurse and I’ve never had time to DIY so I’m new to this. Your videos are so well instructed that I feel very confident trying them! Thanks again for sharing and explaining things so well!
I first found you a year ago when I got Covid- I just laid in bed and watched all your creations haha now a year later you are still KILLING IT I can’t stand it!! You are so creative and talented. Thank you for all your hard work cranking out these videos
I love everything you do, so high end, perfectly explained, and easy to dupe! Rather tell you which of my kids are my favorite than one of your projects😉🤣🤣You're nothing short of amazing❤🙏🏾
Love the blue and silver garland. I made a blue and silver mesh wreath last year and it turned out so pretty! 😊
I am so impressed. you really do make your DIY look expensive and high quality. Thank you for all the inspiration.
❤ nice ideas for decorating my balcony and from door. Silver Bells from Bing Crosby was one of my mom's favorite movies to watch before she passed away. This is the year when celebrating her memories is in my home. She looooved Christmas it looked like a Christmas simple home with lights and garland on her balcony. Her tree would be a village full of ornaments and a town that represents Christmas, Santa Claus, the carolers singing, ice skating. Well you catch my drift. So Christmas is coming very early this year. It ends after the second week of January in my country. Very very nice. I can't wait. But first. . Jesus is the reason for why we celebrate Christmas. We wouldn't have it at all. Thank you again for sharing. 😊
So fun to watch...looking forward to doing some of these for our new patio this holiday...easy and festive...and best of all...affordable!

Everything is soooooo beautiful I also love decorating gifts i call it jazzing them up!
So many ideas! A little repetitious with the burlap & red gingham. But my head is spinning & you're right, none of it looks cheap!
You are very talented, Megan.Number 2 has to be my favourite because of how simple it is put together. You could also hang it on a wall and even make more of them and turn them into an arch. All these DIYs are incredible and well explained. Thank you so very much for sharing them with us.
JESUS LOVES YOU REPENT AND HE DOESN’T WANT TO SEE YOU PERISH CAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND HE DIED FOR YOU ❤
I am always impressed how you keep coming up with such upscale looking decorations! And the way you present everything is entertaining in itself. I couldn’t loose no matter which of these 25 projects I decided to make. Thanks for sharing with us.
W.O.W. I'm always dubious when someone says they won't look cheap, but you knocked it out of the ballpark!
Newbie here. I Love dollar tree diys. And you are by far my favorite!!! Never watched before but I'm definitely subscribing. Love that you make things that aren't cheese. And I appreciate that you acknowledge that dollar tree isn't always the cheapest option.
Love, love how quickly, yet detailed each DIY was done. I usually have to fast forward though long drawn out explainations. I rarely subscribe, but you had me couple projects in. 😀
One suggestion is something I came up with last year - take two of the DTs over the door wreath hangers - cut off the over the door part and glue together in a criss cross. Add floral in the center. I also used two of the small bottle brush tree bases and a couple of DT BBQ skewers and made some poles - skis and poles with floral decor... Easy to make and very inexpensive but high end looking!
Love all your DIYs - you inspired two years ago to start on my DIY journey! Thank you and blessings!
What does it make? Sorry if I missed it, but I'm confused. I just can't see it. 😏
@@4cats2dogs They said it mimics skis and poles. Wintry, rather than specifically Christmassy.
Megan, this video revived my Christmas spirit that was dead for the last 10 years or so. Dollar tree is one of my favorite stores. I can't wait to start decorating our home. Thank you so much for your beautiful ideas.
One of the BEST videos I’ve ever viewed. So many great ideas to produce beautiful decor on a budget. I’m crafty so this is sooo in my lane. Thank you!!!
Thank you so very much Megan for sharing all of these wonderful, fun DIY’s! I normally dread this time of year because everything is so expensive! With what you’ve shared, I’m super excited to be able to do these projects with my daughters, make memories, and also make our holiday more personable! Thank you thank you thank you sooo much ❤
Great video! Doing a gingerbread cafe outside. Put my cafe table chairs out. Took plastic lattice made cafe sign , scotch-guarded a Girafe and teddy bear , made table full of cookies gingerbread foam cutouts puff paint, put chef hats on them with elf aprons , old kids bench decorated with cookies etc all sitting in LR ready for Nov25 reveal👍❤️you inspired me to make the tree snowflake wreath ( I’ll add gingerbread guys in center) for the 2 trees and I hung as backdrop a gingerbread house shower curtain fun fun
These ideas are so cute! And you're right, looks better than store bought, and if I got this hand made as a gift I'd love them all much more as well!
THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THAT ........THANK-YOU ! KATH
Megan, you make the greatest Christmas holiday diys! I love absolutely everything you make. Everything is so high end and beautiful, from the wreaths, to the ornaments, to the beaded garlands, to that adorable gnome! Love your creativity and humor! I always look forward to your videos!
Just a tip from another crafter - you don't have to buy Mod Podge. If white glue or tacky glue is cheaper, buy that. Actually, if the same amount of white glue/tacky glue and Mod Podge are the same price, go for the white/tacky glue. Mix the glue with equal parts of water and you have a very good DIY version of the expensive Mod Podge. I used this on ornaments we made when my oldest child was about 2. Those ornaments are still in good shape 29 years later.
Just found you yesterday and can’t quit watching your videos! You are so clever and crafty! I love all your ideas and can’t wait to make lots of them for myself and my friends! Merry Christmas!🎄
I am loving your ideas. I am not a creative person, but I do love to DIY things. Thank you for the inspiration and great ideas.
Absolutely love the first two projects. The oversized garage wreath. The two projects using the ornaments as large beads. The deco packaging for pics are so cute. And of course the classy candles at the end, but I would probably do florals vs. greenery 🎄 🎀 🔔 😍
I love wreaths! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas! I'm glad I found you and so happy you don't make everything farm house themed. I'm really hoping you will make after Christmas/winter wreaths and Valentines Day.
I don't decorate too much for seasons outside of fall & Christmas, but I will see what I can do this year for the valentine's day wreath!
Much love to you my friend ❤️
-Megan
I was only halfway through the video when I stopped/paused it… and started 2 of the “Welcome” signs using the DT letters & long wood plank. (I stained the back of one, added the black letters to the other side so they would show up better on the natural wood, then stained the edges [using a cut piece of a sponge] to distress it. I even went lightly over the center of the letters. It turned out fabulous! Looked like a long slice of a small tree! The added greenery and black & red ribbon really topped it off!)
Thank you for sharing these brilliant ideas!! Now I’ll finish watching the remainder of the video… and may have to pause again to create one of your inspiring creations! ❤
All these are such great ideas! Thank you for sharing them. I love your channel and appreciate that you shared in a previous video how important it was to spend quality time w/ your daughter during her final year of high school. You made the right choice b/c family is so important.
