Love Love this song. It’s fantastic live & a little more special cuz Freddie talked John into singing the bridge with him. John didn’t want to be in the spotlight so it’s cool to see him singing with Freddie! Take some time to check out the lyrics written by Freddie. Btw, I’ve always wanted to scream LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! 🤣🤣. It’s time for BRIGHTON ROCK & DEAD ON TIME for Dr. Brian May!! 👑👏👑👏
I’ll be 63 years old in a couple of months and went to a lot of concerts in the 70’s. I was fortunate enough to see Queen three times, once in 1975, 76, and 77, all in Philly. I had tickets six rows in front of Freddie’s piano in 1976 for the “Night of the Opera” tour at the Tower theater. In my opinion, Freddie was the best front man I’ve ever seen which includes Mick Jagger. In 1977 Queen’s opening act was Thin Lizzy at the Philadelphia Convention Center. That concert ranks second to being at Live Aid in Philly in 1985. The greatest band to see live in concert.
Thanks, Smoove -- seems like you know and love a lot of Queen -- did you happen to notice Freddie's "glitter glove"? Somebody else made it more famous - but Fred had the dramatic fashion ahead of many... :)
I love the way you react to the absolutely amazing talent of all 4 members of Queen ! They are so talented, they all sing, write songs, play multiple instruments, and they are all committed to giving their fans the best performance they can give. To me they truly are the best band of the century. Their music transcends into many different genres of music and they are so good at giving us songs that are happy, funny, sad, serious, playful, or very emotional. You can tell that they are always determined to give their fans the best performances possible by encouraging them to participate with the call and response, singing along, clapping or stomping their feet. I believe that Queen will continue to be very popular and relevant for a long time to come. Thank you for your reactions, please keep going.
Death on two legs, 39, Keep Yourself Alive, please. All Studio versions. Queen has such a huge catalog. That if the early songs are performed live. They are shortened versions. To fit the time. Also the recorded version of 39 features Brian May on lead vocals.
So glad this is the album version. They were brilliant live but the album versions have everything. All the guitar parts. All the vocals and harmonies. Everything. Other great early songs also worth checking out include Brighton Rock, She Makes Me, Now I’m Here and You Take My Breath Away.
This is one of their first songs they performed 70/71 One of Freddie's Dec 71 one of five on their demo Re recorded for their first album released 73 Queen
Fabulous! Queen stands the test of time! One idea behind the song was that when Freddie was a kid in Zanzibar, he went to a grammar school run by Evangelical nuns and his family practiced an ancient spiritual religion called Zoroastrianism. Songs like this were an excellent way of expressing all that bent up rage and confusion. Live at the rainbow is out of this world. ua-cam.com/video/AdWtxjfmKC4/v-deo.html alongside "death on two legs" Flick of the wrist live at the rainbow is so incredibly raw and vicious! enjoy!
Love your reactions , you should react to “Seven Seas of Rye “ omg there are so many you need to start from the beginning. If you want to see Brian go nuts on the guitar one song would be “I Want It all” 😎👍🏻
Early Queen was true harder rock even thrash before thrash was a thing. They did they're own thing. Black Queen will definitely make you say..." Say what?!" Ps- poor Dealt tried so hard with his singing but he just had such a hard time that at one concert that had to cut his mic he was so out of tune. But he can dance up a storm when the mood sweeps him.
Any chance You could do Innuendo which is considered a masterpiece off their last album and is about greed, race, colour etc ? It would leave You speechless..... thank You !
“Death on two legs” is sometimes referred to as “the original diss track” 😂 highly recommended you check that one out
Liar is Queen's most exciting, nay electrifying recording. The "All day long" part never fails to send me into a frenzy.😁
Yes to 'Death on Two Legs'. The lyric video is a must to appreciate the beauty and eloquence of Freddie's vitriol and venom.
Love that song!!
I love how Freddie looks with long hair , no mustache He's so exotic❤
Death on two legs...a harsh worded song Freddie wrote about their exmanager..it's a good listen
The Queen I fell in love with..
Been a fan since 1974..
I love Seventies-Queen! They were at their most experimental and hungry. And, of course, their most sexy, lol.
YESSSS
Definitely 😫

Such a great reply. I love your words that describe Queen to the tee
Death on two legs Lyric video. It's a hate letter to their manager. I think it was 1975
