In India we call them kaaza, a famous sweet. But we make with little difference, after frying we dip in sugar syrup and remove.So the kaaza will be juicy crunchy
In Malaysia we call it oyster chips or airplane chips. its popular when Eid. I use my mother's recipe for the rub: 1 measure of sweet potato flour mixed with 1 measure of oil. cooked over low heat until well mixed. used for application before rolling. It will crack beautifully by itself when fried. and tq for your recipe. its great!!! ❤
