A humvee engine and 4l80 would have been cake. That is what i run in my Ford ranger. Dumb....and reliable. Runs on crap fuels easily . The 2002 and newer GEP engines will hold boost and get 350 ish HP with a Conestoga pump... Easy to rebuild and modify injectors....and very CHEAP. Of course it would never out power or out mpg a Duramax. Now that the Duramax platform is cheap .. I have been looking to mechanically inject one....
