I bet you plugged the mat into an electrical outlet and used the house electrical ground? If you did, then there is some backfed electrical on your ground circuit and that is the cause of your terrible experiences. You need to take a piece of copper wire and connect it to the mat and then run it outside your window and sink it into the ground a couple of feed to ground the proper earth. I would not recommend using the mat anymore until you can ground it to the outside earth as the backfed electrical on your house grounding is bad for you.

I have had a psychic medium tell me that I'm highly empath and I carry so much energy of others and I get overstimulated easily. Suffer from anxiety too. She said I NEED to sit on grass or cement. Bc the earth's natural energy will calm me and I release the stress into earth. It's very accurate what the commenter said. Nature and ground is the best healer

YES! Steph, we are always supposed to be grounded. Best to stick a copper pipe in the ground outside with a long wire to the earthing mat on your bed. Remember we earthed 24 hrs a day up to a hundred years ago or so. so you can't get too much. All the other animals are grounded all the time.

The improvement that I've noticed is my heart rate improved. I have been bradycardic for years with my rate in the low 50's and I'm not athletic. That being the only change lately, I'm now in the low 60's. I use the mat under my feet while at the computer and I have a pillow cover that's grounded. My dogs love to lie down on the mat. I've been using the grounding mats & pillow cover for approx 5 days, but walking grounded for a couple weeks. Some people are sensitive and takes a couple weeks to get use to them. I look forward to hearing more about your experiences.

I did a DIY earthing on my bed... I did the metal tape and tinfoil conductivity with a single plug into the ground wire. I have not slept the entire night through for years... BPH prostate has caused me to get up 1-2 times EVERY night for the last 3-4 years to pee... Four of five nights in a row since I began grounding on my bed I have (not only NOT got up to pee at all) I also have NOT even woken any during the night... I fell a sleep and woke up the next morning refreshed and feeling GREAT have not slept this good in YEARS! Hope your experience is different / better if you try again.

I have an earthing mat that I put on my bed but I use with a cotton sheet over it. If I am having body pain because I do deliveries, it takes all of the pain away. My dad has neuropathy in his feet and when he sits with his feet on the mat he said it helps. I thought it was woo woo but it works. Interestingly enough, there are times that I feel worse when I use it so I stop using it until I feel like I need it again. I only use it sporadically.

Here's something you might try. Wearing and sleeping on linen. Linen has been largely forgotten about. Made from the Flax plant it has a megahertz rate of 5,000 and has been touted as a healing energy probably more than a thousand years. But people poo poo on it because it wrinkles so easily and it doesn't have many colors but you can still buy many things made with linen. It's stronger than cotton that only has the rate of 115 megahertz. Interestingly enough polyester and a person on their deathbed measure 15 htz. The Bible goes far to say that you should not wear linen with wool, scientifically they are on opposite ends of the energy spectrum and cancel each other.

Healthier plants and better harvests. Look into it for yourselves in case my info is not 100%. Some people get noteworthy results and some don't.

It didn’t bother Steve in the least but I used it 3 nights and it drove me nuts! Nothing like the first night though. I moved it higher the 2nd night so my actual feet could touch the cotton sheet and that was much better…it was like wearing pleather pants inside out or a Halloween costume sort of feel to me 🤮 😆

Side note: If your house has a ufer ground ( electrical panel grounded to rebar in the concrete footing) you have a superior ground which could explain your spectacular results ( white eyes!). Most older houses used two ground rods 8 feet long 6 feet apart to ground their electrical panel. A ufer ground is 25 to 50 times better than ground rods at making a ground connection to earth.
