Should have used the L to support the weight instead of the Line… I honestly thought that’s what you were planning to do at first and was surprised when you were trying to have it support it parallel to the ground… But what I meant by what I stated above was to have a shelf up above that you pull down which would be in the L Position to use and then push up towards the back wall which would be in the Line Position when not in use
How did you get the 3rd screw in there? The hinge covers it.
I marked the hole, drilled a hole, then used a manual screwdriver to screw it in.
@@mtandiz The hole is not accessible due to the hinge mechanism blocking it. I just can't figure this out.

Hi mtandiz! I have a question about these hinges. If you didn't have the table legs there stopping it from happening, would these hinges allow you to fold drop leaf piece all the way back, stacking the side pieces on top of the main table top? Basically, I am wondering if I wanted a table top only that could collapse flat into half the size with a hinge for storage, would these hinges work or would I need something else?

you installed the hinges back to front , thats why it didnt workout .
hey i take it all back. mine is fitted now and its also drooping. looks like only suitable for vertical upright fittings. :(
You could have used the hinges for the folding table if you have bought a pair of flap holders - like these: "HSI 928254.0 Flap Holder Nickel-Plated Iron 300 mm" :-) The new solution you made is far better though, with the other folding table hinges. -But you can still use the other hinges - just add flap support. -I use the same concealed hinges for an attic flap - and I have added a pair of flap holders to help support the weight of the flap.
Which ones would be used to hold up a 12-inch wide shelf to support only about 20lbs.?
