Boundary Supply Prima System - Is this the bag of ALL bags?? (Honest Review)

I always hesitate a little when I make a bigger purchase and that's just because I want to make sure I am buying something I won't regret. Spoiler alert: I did not regret this one...
The Prima System from Boundary Supply has not received the attention it deserves in my opinion and could quite possibly be the most genius camera bag design out there. I've watched COUNTLESS hours of UA-cam videos showing off the top camera bags on the market and this bag is not even in some of these videos! That blows my mind, however I think that's just because not everyone has discovered Boundary Supply yet.

Just bought this bag. The small (Verge) cube and the Mk2 LT are the main reasons (in addition to a roomy laptop compartment) for me for buying the Prima System. I obviously like the pack since I bought it, but the large camera cube doesn't make a lot of sense for me. If the bag is mostly used with the large cube then it's more cost effective to buy a dedicated camera bag which will also give better access.
The Verge have room for (like you showed) a camera and a few accessories or maybe an additional smallish lens - perfect for daily use. Since Verge isn't as wide as the pack it also allow me to store a travel tripod inside the pack. Extremely useful IMO when you don't expect to need it all the time. That also leaves the outside pocket free for a water bottle or maybe lightweight rain jacket.
The Mk-2 LT (sold out so I haven't got it yet) is big enough for my camera and a 100-400 while still leaving enough room in the pack for some other items.
I don't dislike anything about the bag, but nothing is perfect. I wish the outside pocket had been slightly taller and the Verge cube could ideally have been slightly wider. Half an inch extra would have allowed many camera bodies to be placed "horizontally" instead of on the side. I'd also wish the Verge had a bit more structure (better protection of the camera) for when I put some heavier items on top of it in the pack, but neither are far from deal breakers to me.

Yo! Love the review! I just bought the Prima with the Mk-1 cube as a dedicated camera bag as well. Used the Errant for years and now that I'm carrying around more gear, needed something bigger. I noticed you haven't published much lately, keep creating dude! Your videos are killer!

I really appreciate this comment man! You're right, it has been a while since I've made anything and even though I am so critical of myself I was JUST thinking about possibly getting back into it - so this was encouraging to see. I've had the Prima for over a year now and I definitely have some updated thoughts on this bag, so I may start there!

Not gonna argue that man… I am literally leaning this bag up on something every day. However, I do feel like every bag out there has some kind of compromise and for me this was something I felt like I could get over since it had everything else going for it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
