Matthew chapter six teaches that when a Christ follower fasts they are to spend their time praying and not draw any attention to the fact that they are fasting. Other Scripture says more important than fasting food is a merciful attitude, that’s what God desires from us. However, the Muslims are complaining that when they only eat in the dark it’s not good enough despite it being free? They can’t be merciful or sacrificial? Are they only doing it for show or are they truly trying to draw closer to God? The best book I ever read was “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus” definitely worth listening to an audio or reading. It’s also available in Arabic. It is by mercy that I pray these Muslims humble to God who is only hood and start to reject the Allah of allowed lying taqiyya.

It takes years to learn a language and its more difficult for an adult to learn a language than a child. Lots of immigrant families will have the children learn the new language and translate for the parents.

It takes days to learn a few phrases, weeks to reach basic minimum ( greetings, introduction, asking for direction, understanding basic instructions ), and fluency in a few months when you are learning in immersion.
