I have to give props to his lawyer. The fact that Puddle of Mudd has been successful enough to afford a lawyer to keep him both out of significant jail time or bankruptcy is something that should be explored. Maybe by the IRS.
I obviously saw a totally different side of Wes in (2011) he was a complete gentleman, funny, nice, and gave me a gift bag as a token of appreciation for my dedication to him& Puddle of Mudd I didn't ever , see him lip sync that evening in fact he sang everything and,was nailing Guitar riffs whatever anyone else thinks about him is on them because, he's human he has bad days and,his share of bad moments let him live his life.
I saw them about 20 ft from the stage on my birthday onAug 31st, and i can Honestly say that Wes was Completely sober, and they played a Really Awesome Show. I hope he stays that way...
Hey This guy has been sober for 2 years straight now and the last thing he needs is to have past brought up. Let's all let the man move forward shall we. Why would you release this now after he is doing so good and the band is amazing! I have seen him live! He is rocking!
Honestly I agree with you guys on the band 100% but this video is also a reminder of what he had to go through to get where he is now he hopefully learned his lesson and is on a better path
@WL Rockstar plunty of people do cocaine on the DL. I knew a guy that is friends with the band and they are coming to Louisville soon. May have already happened idk and he was trying to get us to hook him up with blow before the concert because some of the band members wanted some while they are in town. The dude could be bullshitting. I hope he is but it just seemed like kind of a random lie to pull out of your ass. Drug addiction is a bitch to deal with though so it wouldn't surprise me if he ain't lying. Really hope he is though.
Dude... this band has been through some trouble, yes, but why draw attention to all of that when they are in a very positive state at the moment? They just released an album after 10 years of absence. Whether or not you like the album, respect I think is deserved for Wes and for the band. They may have had a lot of rough shows, but they never really stopped playing and touring. Whether it was for small bars or bigger venues, they played. Whether or not they got booed on stage, they played. I’m sorry man but this video is harping on nothing but negativity about a band who has seemed to have overcome that. Open your eyes a little bit.
Yo grunge. Let it go man wes is doing good now . hes cleaned up his act. Hes bavk on track with his music and has artwork coming out soon. Rockfeed already made a video on this. Coming from a friend of wes and dave..
Around the 5 minute mark is guitarist Duane Betts ( son of Allman Bros Band Dickey Betts), the band considered adding him. One problem, Duane was a drug addict, it previously caused his ousting from the band whitestarr.
Neither will I.... Unfortunately. Damn, I hope instead he just fades into ruin if he can’t learn to balance humility with his obvious talent as without that balance it cancels out... as you’re stating with rockstars all too often fatally. It’s just too much for some maybe even most to be surrounded by yes people everywhere. Takes strong innate character to ultimately handle fame and success properly and accordingly. Hope he wakes up before he can’t anymore

Scanlin/ puddle of mud’s only hit is Blurry. (Whether this song really speaks the truth of Scanlin as the innocent victim) As we speak he is a one hit wonder.
What other bands were big in the 2000s but since disappeared?
Limp biscuit?
Creed
Creed, Limp Bizkit, Hinder etc.
Saliva
Porcupine tree
Some people are buttholes before they become famous and bigger buttholes when fame finds them. Why be any different when you’re done being famous?

yep, just like Kings of Leon, Bowling For Soup, Creed, Sum 41 and most other eastly 2000's kiddy rock.

I went to school with his kid i remember him picking him up from school, thought he was so cool

Wes has been sober for awhile now and he’s singing better than ever and the new album recently came out
This comment didn’t age well.

All this is old news. He's recovered and is sober for well over a year now.

feel sorry for Wes. I thought he was a more senseful rockstar but the way he answered to interviews showed otherwise. seems a shallow person :(

Hi Wes
He seems like a piece of shit though. Surprised there’s not women lining up to call him a rapist
He's sober now and just released a new album
The new album was pretty bad lol
@WL Rockstar I heard it a decade ago when every pop rock band released the same song. The new album sucks
Besides all that it's been smooth sailing tho 😒
As of 2021 his net worth is 500,000. There's the real tragedy.
But they were a good band. He's still young enough to get help and have another go at music. Good luck Wes!
Only one who needs credit is durst not band members who QUIT!
The antics he did were never cool. They were just plain attention seeking pretending to be cool.
Destined to be great? Easy guy
This is old.just saw them in jersey on Saturday night. Sober and sounded great.
