    Sarah's low range blows my mind. I hope one day I can play that well.

    The whole ensemble is exceptional. Sarah Willis again sets the gold standard in low horn. Radek's tone is beyond belief. Pure Gold. Stefan also does an incredible job backing up Radek.

    @klo1024 I admire Sarah's talent very much and imagine that she could probably play first chair in any other orchestra. She might have already had other offers, but is doing what she loves and does best. (and after playing the Berlin Philharmonic a person might consider any other a let down) In my opinion she is #1 in the world at playing the 4th horn position.

    ..¡que belleza de sonidos..!!!..no se de música tuetánica...pero al azar elegí despertarme con música..y volvi a soñar saltando de nube en nube..y depronto me caí de mi hamaca de mi choza amazonica..y han estado en el patio : papagayos...tucanes...mariposas ...todos exhibiendo sus colores de arco iris....entonces..me dije a mi mismo...TAMBIEN SOY UN ANIMAL MULTICOLOR.!!!..(y seguro fue esta musica generadora de esta magia).

    French horn is considered to be the hardest instrument in the entire world.

      Personally i think piano is harder to master, but easier to start playing. There is no real “hardest instrument”. I play horn if anyone is curious.

    • @adamstillwagon83
      @adamstillwagon83 4 роки тому

      @@EpochIsEpic Piano definitely gets a bad rep for being easy to pick up, but I agree it's hard to master. Tons of different techniques. Horn is about mastering the basics and applying them to the highest degree you can. At least from my experience.

    • @EpochIsEpic
      @EpochIsEpic 4 роки тому

      @@adamstillwagon83 Fairly accurate analysis

    • @ariston8368
      @ariston8368 4 роки тому

      @@EpochIsEpic I disagree, you can't compare a french horn to a piano. If you have a piano key there's only one single tone coming out. The french horn has about 15 or more tones for each valve only produced by your own body. I don't think playing piano is easy, but on the french horn in my opinion it's harder to get that good like those guys 👆🏽

  • @PLTConductorComposer
    @PLTConductorComposer 13 років тому

    @neferiel I haven't found it too challenging to play, personally. Having come off Trumpet, that gave me a position that was naturally disposed to high playing, which has made quite some difference. Trombone will probably mean you have a lower lip position.
