About 65 years ago at school we had a music lesson the teacher played a piece of music , with a French horn solo in it and I fell in love with the French horn I swear I eared dawn break

My first cousin played French horn in high school marching band--a real challenge. My friend and I just happened to end up directly behind the French horns when singing Haydn's "Four Seasons" with the Jacksonville Symphony chorus. During the concert at the University of Florida in Gainesville the horns got "spitted up" during the finale, which consisted of brass fanfares alternating with vocal amens. The da, da, da, da das came out more like sputter, sputter, sputter. We couldn't help but break up, which elicited an icy stare from the conductor.
I never expected that l'd feel threatened by a guy with a triangle.
