Man the art style of Z just can't be beat, I love the use of lighting to make the screen "flash" when they do certain attacks, totally understandable why they stopped doing that a whole lot in recent years but it just adds so much imo lol

The power-up SFX which accompanies Gohan's follow up strike merely punctuates how serious Gohan was; as well as Frieza's surprise. For observant fans, tbis further cements his shock at the fact a five-year-old Saiya-jin could even come close to his power; especially after his first transformation.
I'm surprised that the cells from Frieza inside of Cell didn't remember this little stunt from Gohan and do a double-take when Goku tossed Cell that senzu bean. That should've been Cell's first clue to not piss of a SSJ version of that same kid.
The first damage Frieza ever took from a Saiyan, maybe anyone, and from a 5 year old. Vegeta in the subs which are missing comments about how he thinks Gohan is closer to becoming a Super Saiyan than anybody. He was an absolute ballsy monster on Namek, his best moments in any arc are on Namek. Went from scared of Saibamen to fighting the most evil tyrant in the universe in 1 month

For 5 minutes until his stamina and rage ran out. Still the mere fact that he could even surprise outspeed for a short time and DAMAGE 2nd form Freezer if only a scratch when even Galick Gun from Vegeta did jack is nothing short of amazing. Hell its also why Vegeta wondered if Gohan wasnt the Super Saiyan really, Piccolo carried 2nd form Freezer even if Freezer was still holding back and didnt need the 3rd form to beat Piccolo as he himself stated, but theres a reason they still had hope even before Piccolo came, when Gohan was first healed and got Zenkai, which by itself was enough to even make 3rd form Freezer struggle for a bit. Its hilarious really Piccolo was much stronger than Gohan at that point yet Gohan's absolute peak with full Stamina was just an "all in" much stronger than anything the rest of the team could dish out. Had he goten an extra heal like Vegeta im sure he wouldve been about as strong as him when he faced Final form Freezer
