So the Tunze lights do very well for shallow lower light softy corals. They are also amazing for growing Chaeto. So even if you end up upgrading I still find them useful! Sorry for the late reply. I have not been getting notifications for some reason.
How do you get your fluval to read correctly? I’m just setting up my reef tank and my fluval is just sitting at the max. I’ve tried tapping it and nothing changes.
Every hobby assumes a degree of individual ownership. I would say make sure you do your research. This hobby has many different opinions. I prefer to keep my specific gravity 0.25 Consider your specific salt though because every salt manufacturer has elements that are are optimal at a set specific gravity.
i got 3 new Hydrometer the past 4 months none worked fine 1 day it work fine the other day extreme false result nothing beat a refractometer even whit the extra step
Yeah I agree with refractometer accuracy but some people just want to know there are multiple options the trick with the hydrometers is the needle gets stuck with the salt so sometimes you need to let it soak for a minute and loosen up the needle. Have you tried the floating glass hydrometer that thing is really cool but has a learning curve I think Tropic Marin has that one. Maybe I should make a video on that one!
Great video. How do you find the Tunze light for your corals?

They were just for decoration
There is not one video about these meters that tell you what's too high and what's too low. And that's absolutely shocking
