More Z content, I need more
Coming right up! Thanks so much. What would you like to see?
@@AMSPerformance any thing I love the new Z and can’t wait to get one. How about them new 1000hp rated turbos?
@@ChrisWallace1987 Sounds great! Let me see what we can do in that regard!
Indeed
Awesome upgrades!
For the next one I wish you guys would get a base h shift Z and build a fun track monster, just don't make the mistake other builders do and neglect upgrading the mushy touring car subframe and diff bushings to SPL Parts aluminum goodness, in addition to all their other suspension goodies, with your go fast parts and the Nismo bumper covers! The ultimate Z!
Thanks so much! Let me see what we can do. In that regard, I would recommend checking out TF Works. They are building a new Z track car utilizing many of our parts. The build featured here is a customer car. We also had a hand in a Z Proto build that competed in Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational that had all sorts of SPL suspension parts. Stay tuned as always! We appreciate you 🙏
100hp increase just with bolt on parts 👌
Yup! That's what we're here for!
don't think to switch engine into vr38?
@@nsxacura200 Depending on the budget, the cost would outweigh the benefits. Would be a fairly comprehensive swap. It could be done, but not worth it for the average consumer. More fitting of a SEMA build or similar
@@nsxacura200 Emelia Hartford's Nissan Z with VR38 has entered the chat
Love it!!!
Thanks so much!
Nice! 🔥
Much appreciated!
Can we get some exhaust videos? I wanna see what’s out there
Unfortunately we do not produce exhaust components for this application, aside from various downpipe options. So not something you would see from us, but we appreciate the thought. Off the top of my head, Boost Logic and Fast Intentions are two exhaust options for this platform. I'll include a link to the exhaust components available on our website below:
www.amsperformance.com/product-category/nissan/z/exhaust-z/
@@AMSPerformance which is your preference?
@@supaoranges1086 Can't go wrong either way! If I had to choose, I would go with the Boost Logic option. But that is just my personal opinion, exhaust systems are largely personal preference
❤
🙏🙏
Upgrade with Z1 turbos 😊
We can make that happen!
building it into what? only saw two Zs on my trip to Ft Worth 2 weeks ago...only 2! out of the ~600,000 other cars in the city. in my corner of SW OH, haven't seen any... 😢
Send some intakes the stock ones are so quiet 🙏
You can find them at the link attached below!

Nice Rz34 Custom
Is this on E or 93?
Good question! Thank you for asking. I am not 100% sure off the top of my head, I would have to talk with our tuning team. I can tell you that the car is equipped with our Flex Fuel kit, so it is capable of running on ethanol.
Any updates on this? Was the dyno run done on E85?
How much did this all cost I want to do this to my Z as well I just got it
Thank you for asking! We would love to make that happen for you. I will include a link to the product page on our website below. The cost of the package is $4,249.65, install and tuning not included in that price. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions, we look forward to getting you taken care of!
www.amsperformance.com/product/nissan-z-alpha-5-performance-package/
It costed me after parts, labor and tuning 8k.
What's the series of S bends on the Midpipe? Is that for a certain tone?
The exhaust is from Boost Logic. Per the description on their website, "The custom dual X Pipe design ensures a unique tone and reduces drone" So yes you're exactly right
@@AMSPerformance Awesome! I guess I could have looked myself. But thanks for the information.
@@Mikey6048 No worries at all! Happy to help in any way we can. You were spot on!
@@AMSPerformance Side note. Everybody I meet that hears your GT-R Titanium Exhaust on my car. Says wonderful things about it. Definitely need to make a sound video on it.
@@Mikey6048 Love to hear that! We'd love to see and hear that!
😮 Berry Good! 🚘🎵😎 cool 😊
Thank you berry much!
So, how much horsepower does it really put out stock? Advertised 400hp at the crank but puts out 375 to the wheels? Must make closer to 450hp stock?
The Nismo is rated at 420 from the factory. Does seem to be making a bit more than advertised
375 whp stock. Wow that’s only like 6 whp more than the base z
They are the same engine and hardware. Only difference is the tune. It's not like a GTR vs a GTR Nismo where the GTR Nismo comes with different turbos.
That's what we're here for 😈
what I notice about the Nismo is the drivability, its more tight and super responsive. Doesn't roll like the base does. Track car for sure.
Looks like a 4x4 with that wheel gap
That can easily be fixed!
500hp
That's like my elements horsepower so weak man .
Let's see it! Line 'em up 🏁
wow makes about the same hp as a stock coyote excellent!!!!
coyote 460 hp - 20% drivetrain lost makes it 368 whp. Z is 500whp
The Z won’t fall apart, has better materials throughout, more aerodynamic, corners better…
Not exactly 🧐 Are you aware of the difference between crank horsepower and wheel horsepower?
Glad I bought the performance, 10k for 10hp smh.
My performance spec dynoed in at 380 wheel and picked up another 50 with tune only.
The main reason I’d want the NISMO is for the trans and suspension components.
@@ZillaFullBoost honestly if it had heated seats I would have bought it. Ah well, anyone that knows Zs knows the nismo is just a body kit anyway.
@@MalaphisisI think the Nismo is genuinely faster than the Performance version in a race track. That’s where you’ll notice the difference, certainly more than just cosmetic differences
That's where we come in 😈
@@AMSPerformance your in Chicago? If so you might be my people next year...
The performance and looks of this car is amazing but the sound of the VR30 is worse than any VQ and I own a NA DE lol
Thems fightin' words! Haha its hard to convey audio on video, this car sounds better in person.
I am sorry its an ugly car but beauty is personal and thats my bias but good work modding it
I’m sorry but you’re high that’s a gorgeous car but that’s my bias opinion.
@@ChrisWallace1987I am sorry didn't know liking strawberry ice cream when you like raspberry makes me high. Guess ur a dictator from a close minded planet.
Go tell ur mom she's high because she likes something you don't see how she reacts.
I am sorry you're an ugly car
The Nismo bumper covers go a long way to improving the looks of the car though.
No one cares if you think its ugly big guy
So a 5k kit just to gain 80hp? lol
This car gained over 100whp, from a baseline of 375 to 483whp. As well as the kit is closer to $4k than $5k, at $4,249.65 plus tax, install, etc. So not exactly. But this is not an all-out power package as with some of our other offerings, this is meant to be a full bolt-on package. Things can always be done cheaper, but not done better.
That’s all cool and all but are these guys ASE certified? 🥸
