amazing interview here! also as a audio engineer in the house of worship side....putting thought into sound design and products is soooo important. good stuff! truly inspiring and makes me wanna go to my alma mater corps and help design.
very cool interview...Drum corps since 2004 has been trying to figure out how to be top notch and forward moving with audio and amplification. It's been a journey for sure over the last 20 years. Not all corps are there, but after seeing Bloo 4 times this year, I'd say the future of DCI is in good hands, and this is the corps that's leading the way in sound design. And can I just say I loved this year and all the cool sonic moments. I really appreciate the straightforward attention to music and sound vs. the over-the-topness (although good) furniture/storyline/narration. I love when corps leave it up to the audience for interpretation! Beautiful stuff!
