I get Z is more popular, but its always sad seeing nothing characters like Cui and Freeza Soldier get in before major villains like Tao or King Piccolo :/
Its also because z had a huge power jump. Notice how all of the origional dragonball characters were weaker thsn yamcha and none of that had any really interesting powers.
And I even think Appule is more memorable then Cui

Out of all these characters, dark king piccolo at least deserved to be here. It makes Kid Goku’s presence here almost lonely and OG Dragonball being underrepresented.

They seem to have intentionally avoided anything filler, hence why they also didn't include Great Saiyaman 2 (Videl), Pikkon, Super Saiyan Bardock, SS Rage Trunks etc... but this is especially weird considering the movies are in. We can only guess what logic they went with.

no super 17 is rough ngl, he was one of my favorites as a kid, his design, his moveset, the voice actor killed it too- i still remember his charge up, everytime you hit max power he would start laughing like a maniac, and then his ultimate was named “shocking death ball”, but he would say “electric hellsphere” instead, idk i just thought that was so raw to me lol

I was more worried about them not being in the game than I was for GT and movie characters (before they were revealed), it's so damn disrespectful how the literal first series of the canon story gets put aside and isn't the beginning of the story in these games, being left out altogether is a spit to the face

To me it’s literally the first series man it needs to be shown the same respect in some form I mean we wouldn’t have the characters we do now without those events
@@uchihabomber1296 it's because Ocean and Funimation only decided to broadcast Z when they first started dubbing because it was "cool" for their target audience (children). And it was also much easier to be interpreted in that big buff screaming males narrative that they wanted the show to be, even though both series were essentially the journey of a martial artist.
Then there's nostalgia for the people who watched it growing up, which is like a literal drug. The damage it's done to the fandom is unrepairable.

Im just glad they kept Saibaman. I used to play with them all the time. At first i just used them as a joke, but after a while they became my main. I still remember winning with Saibaman only against SS3 Goku and other strong chars against my relatives and friends. Cant wait to stomp Online players with my Saibaman God Saibaman build.

Well so far we just got confirmation that the first 20 dlc characters or the first 3 packs are gonna be a mixture of super hero and dima and that’s it 😢
I'm sure they will add more smaller DLCS after the Super and Daima DLCS and for example there will be packs of 3 characters like: Super 17, Eis Shenron, Nuova Shenron
@Suryus94 Well they have confirm the first season of DLC will focus only on Super Hero and Daima. They definitely prepared for Super Hero first, and like most of DLC released in fighting games, they gonna drag it a bit. That give time for Daima to released more episode and we see some new characters more so without spoiler, they can released bunch of Daima characters later on. If I'm not wrong they will released in 3 pack for both Super Hero and Daima combine
