I can respect his taking responsibility, though. Let Bulma shirk - it's not like she can do anything about, well... anything if it doesn't involve putting her scientific mind to work.
The ending of GT hits you emotionally, especially if you grew up watching DBZ though toonami, Adult Swim, and especially if you had to bootleg vhs tapes to watch the movies, and specials in different languages. Made many friends through the journey in Arika Toriyama’s characters and stories. Another great video 🤝🏼
I watched gt as a kid and dismissed it when i found out it wasnt cannon, and recently watched these videos. The nostalgia was immense, I was too hard on gt its really good

I remember being 8 and watching that finale in my kitchen on my little square tv, and just sobbing at that ending because I knew it was the end for a longgggggg time... and I was right.
I love how goku has that special connection with the 4 star ball. Starting with dragon ball with him thinking it was his grandpa to Gt with nouva being his “friend”

It’s really touching that Nova is the most honorable one of the dragons and is also the 4 star ball. Knowing that it’s the most important ball, it’s poetic that he wanted to give Goku a fair fight

I think people hate it because the fights weren't as "crazy" as Z because of goku's nerf which was required since the series wanted to be a mix of og dragon ball humor and z fights, and the lack of the other Z fighters and mostly focusing on small goku and Pan, but I stand by that GT was actually good.
I find it wholesome Toriyama thanked him in a personal note and even drew the Ssj4 himself as he praised him for getting so close to his own draeing style he had a hard time figuring out of he had drawn it himself or if it was Nakatsuru's work.
I love this saga, it's really a good send off to GT and the series at the time. And Vegeta really grew up when he suggests Fusion with Goku to beat Omega Shenron

I think Omega Shenron is a really good villain. If they added that he comes from ancient times when there was only one Dragon Ball and if he declared himself the god of destruction, they would be the best villain in the entire series.

@aricruz_ Yeah, I read somewhere it was some production issue with GT. Which is why they cancelled DBAF despite completing half of the manga. Who knows, hopefully we can get a remake soon. I love SSJ4 🙏🏻
@@MrShahrozzzGT had a rough production the entire time it was almost a Legend of Korra situation where at times they didn’t even know if another saga was green lit, not to mention the limit on artist, it’s why a lot of the fights in GT and my personal gripe with the series is there WAY more beam struggles and energy blast than actual fighting but then you realize it was much easier for them to animate the fights that way considering how much detail SSJ4 and characters had

Dragon Ball GT was so good. It is the most unjustly hated series ever. These were actually interesting unique concepts instead of just increasing power levels to infinity

The fact that Bulma just blames Goku for everything is low, even for her. The worst part is that it's not even the first time she blames things on Goku, and true or not, the fact that she's such a jerk sometimes, which is pretty much a standart trope of shonen anime women by the time, is just hard to sit through sometimes.
This is by far one of the most interesting sagas from the entire Dragon Ball series, and a excellent closure at the time, since it's a concept we grown used to(and even make jokes about) becoming a universal threat

I don’t think the shadow dragons were ever truly evil. They just wanted to teach Goku and his friends a lesson. I noticed that the dragons didn’t actually attack Goku(and Pan) until they said what wish created them. Especially Syn. Before he and Goku started “scrapping” he literally said how dare you criticize your own creation. We’re here because of you. I wish they gave me more time with Omega Shenron though😭. Fun fact about myself: This saga was my first proper introduction to the anime. I was about 6 years old and my best friend at the time lived in the same apartment complex, he was about 8-9 years old. Both just young enough to not feel an age gap, all we did was play go over to his place and play Budokai Tenkaichi 2(the best one, idc 3 ain’t better lol) on ps2. Most of what I knew was from the games, which was surprising most of Z explained pretty simply. He had GT on disc, and he let me borrow disc 3 of the last box set of GT that came out. Right before Vegita’s great ape form. To this day, Omega Shenron and SS4 hold an extremely special place in my heart. Thank you Jonathon, hope you’re doing well, wherever you’re at.
Despite GT being riddled with issues a lot of the concepts were really cool. Like the whole negative energy thing from wishes was a nice way to actually force some consequences for wishes instead of just endlessly using them.
I wish that they could've kept some form of consequences for overusing the dragonballs so much. And technically it IS Bulma's fault since she was the first one to go hunting for the balls to get a boyfriend
Absolutely love this saga, especially the ending since it’s t was a reminder of where Goku came from til the very end. Are you gunna cover the GT movie too?
The ending to GT will forever be the best possible "wrap up" to this series. Its WAY better than the ending to Z and better than Super (or what we have so far anime wise). Impossible to watch without a tear or two.
There’s good stuff in this arc but unfortunately it’s all overshadowed by the rushed nature of the whole thing, like 4 of the dragons are gimmick villains? If goku went ssj right away he could have beat them easily. What are the motivations of the shadow dragons? It seems all over the place. The negative energy of the wishes? That makes very little sense. Additionally most if the wishes were the Kami wishes before dendei became Kami, kinda doesn’t make sense. I do think the idea of the dragon balls being like a final boss brings you he concept full circle and the dragon designs are super cool. But the whole thing feels like a video game not a story arc. That last episode rules though
I liked this ending. This gave the series a good send off. No more Dragon Balls to wish aimlessly, and it brought the series back to its name: Dragon Ball.
I swear the ending of gt and hearing every z fighters naturally passed away made me depressed, I've been a fan since I was 6 years old, I'm now 28 and I still can't get over it.
No lie this is probably the best ending saga for any dragon ball series cause who woulda guessed that the final enemies of the show would come from the same items that the show revolves around just because they was over using the dragon ball. It’s pretty genius when you think about it

The concept and execution of this arc is why it's the best Saga of GT, and debatebly the best ending in Dragon Ball.

Fun fact about myself: This saga was my first proper introduction to the anime. I was about 6 years old and my best friend at the time lived in the same apartment complex, he was about 8-9 years old. Both just young enough to not feel an age gap, all we did was play go over to his place and play Budokai Tenkaichi 2(the best one, idc 3 ain’t better lol) on ps2. Most of what I knew was from the games, which was surprising most of Z explained pretty simply. He had GT on disc, and he let me borrow disc 3 of the last box set of GT that came out. Right before Vegita’s great ape form. To this day, Omega Shenron and SS4 hold an extremely special place in my heart.

Despite GT being riddled with issues a lot of the concepts were really cool. Like the whole negative energy thing from wishes was a nice way to actually force some consequences for wishes instead of just endlessly using them.

The ending to GT will forever be the best possible "wrap up" to this series. Its WAY better than the ending to Z and better than Super (or what we have so far anime wise). Impossible to watch without a tear or two.

Rage shenron is completely broken, one of my favorite Shadow Dragons
There’s good stuff in this arc but unfortunately it’s all overshadowed by the rushed nature of the whole thing, like 4 of the dragons are gimmick villains? If goku went ssj right away he could have beat them easily.
What are the motivations of the shadow dragons? It seems all over the place. The negative energy of the wishes? That makes very little sense. Additionally most if the wishes were the Kami wishes before dendei became Kami, kinda doesn’t make sense. I do think the idea of the dragon balls being like a final boss brings you he concept full circle and the dragon designs are super cool. But the whole thing feels like a video game not a story arc. That last episode rules though
I liked this ending. This gave the series a good send off. No more Dragon Balls to wish aimlessly, and it brought the series back to its name: Dragon Ball.

I swear the ending of gt and hearing every z fighters naturally passed away made me depressed, I've been a fan since I was 6 years old, I'm now 28 and I still can't get over it.
No lie this is probably the best ending saga for any dragon ball series cause who woulda guessed that the final enemies of the show would come from the same items that the show revolves around just because they was over using the dragon ball. It’s pretty genius when you think about it
Some may hate GT but this arc was where the Dragon Balls were most relevant in the franchise.
