Yes they are back together, and they planned a whole tour in 2020 with Run the Jewels opening for them. That is like a dream lineup. Hopefully they will resume that tour when things go back to normal.

What a treat to find you posted this on Zack’s birthday! Love it man, keep it up. They reunited from 2007-2011, and got back together in 2019 to tour last year, but then the Rona came along and said “the hell you will.” So the shows have been postponed. Rage is great when they’re off doing their own things, but magical when they’re together!

Saw them in 1996.. pure fire. Got my tix for 2020 but then covid... Hopefully the tour gets back on track soon. Been waiting for this reunion since forever!

I kinda forgot how EPIC this song is, even though it's not one of their most popluar. The transitions alone are killer, and of course Zakk's lyrics are deep and powerful AS FUNK! One of the best live bands ever to grace the planet earth.
They were about to tour in the Spring and Summer with Run the Jewels but the ‘Rona said nah.
Tim of Rage might be the most rebellious of them all. Dude pulled a Kanye before Kanye interrupted Taylor by climbing a stage prop at the 2000 MTV Awards interrupting Limp Bizkit’s acceptance speech 😂

@@SirButtRichardson RTJ opening for Rage. RTJ is big but not Rage big. Rage was supposed to headline Coachella if I’m not mistaken.
And then has gone on record saying he apologizes to everyone for influencing Limp Bizkit(Fred Durst said hearing Rage Against The Machine made him want to get into music) because they’re an incredibly shitty band 😂😂😂.
But Break Stuff winning best rock video over Testify was 100% bullshit. On one hand you have a powerful video, with a live public protest, with a powerful message, all behind Rage’s incredible skill work on their respective instruments.
And then there’s break stuff.

I've seen about of really good live bands but after seeing Rage last year, they are the best. Hands down.
To be fair not all RATM live versions are this good.
This one is great because the sound quality is great and they were in their prime age.
Zack's energy was unreal in this gig.
Zach laeft the group in 2000 and did some side projects. The rest of the band went on to form AudioSlave with Sound Garden front man Chris Cornell who took his own life. They reunited right before COVID and had a tour set with Run The Jewles the got postponed. Just got rescheduled for 2022......let us pray they are taking this postponed time to make more music

Rage was supposed to tour with Run The Jewels in 2020 but the pandemic, hopefully it will happen this year.
First time I saw Rage was in '99, Gang Starr was the opening group and it was amazing. And I was lucky enough to be at their last live show at the coliseum in LA years ago. They put on such a great show, non-stop energy, I can't wait to see them again.
They do reunion tours, they were on tour with RTJ last year i had tickets to their show in August, Covid nixed all of that.
this pinkpop performance was epic. nothing was left undone. they were all so into the music and message. the other few songs at this performance were great as well

Linkin Park is pretty awesome. The guys from Rage also formed Audioslave for a while which was Rage minus Zach inserting Chris Cornell (RIP) from Soundgarden for a while.
Ok check this out lol...i grew up on 🤘Rock and I was born in Long Beach Cali and I'm pretty sure Zack was born there too.. I googled him hee hee 😊 for some crazy reason I never listened to Rage I guess I was listening to Bobby Brown or Bel Biv Devo 😂 club music in 91 🤦♀️. Anyway 2 years ago at the age of 58 I finally did.... And I love it!!!!! I got to hear Rage everyday. Going to concerts was always my favorite thing, and Deep Purple💜 was my first 🍒 😊 I know great musicians when I hear them and these guy's are it. I subscribed to your channel for this reason! Woo! Let's keep this good thing going. ❤

They broke up in 2000 and came back together in 2007 for a world tour that lasted until 2012, and then they broke up again. Their last album is from 2000, after that they hasn't released new music since.

After rage broke up, Tom morello moved on to play guitar in Audioslave. More of a straight rock band than the rap/rock style of Rage, but led by legendary singer Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Audioslave was a beast of a band in their own right with plenty of hits, catchy Morello riffs, and good tunes.....I’d say worth a listen. Tons of songs but “Cochise” is the natural place to start with them.
Rage is the truth! You still got plenty RTJ to do (I recommend "Call Ticketron" or "Panther like a Panther" next), and Twenty One Pilots, Falling in Reverse, and a bunch more.

On bass and guitar (I have played both in bands) Tom Morello and Tim Cumberford are both a huge influence on me. I love getting into that power stance like Tim and go balls out. All about that groove

As others said, they split for a bit, Rage minus Zach did their own thing, and Zack I think did a lot of activism stuff a documenterie in Mexico, but they're all good now, don't forget, they're no spring chickens either, Zach and myself are only a couple months apart age wise, I just turned 51. Lotta people know about Audio Slave, you should check out Rages other project without Zack, Prophets of Rage, starring none other than Chuck D himself along with B-real from Cypriss Hill, shit is LIT!!

Zach actually worked with a personal trainer for 3 yrs for the 2020 reunion... pretty sure to be continued... after 30 yrs though. No disrespect at all but 311 puts on the best show live with the best sound. Toured 19 yrs in a row til 2020.

Check out “Prophets of Rage” it’s Rage without Zach, and they have B real from Cypress Hill and Chuck D from Public Enemy as the front men. Then of course after Rage broke up the first time, the band again minus Zach formed the group Radiohead with the late great Chris Cornell who’s originally of “Soundgarden”
They didn't form Radiohead, the bands name is Audio Slave and the Prophets of Rage are terrible live.
