I converted this gun to DA/SA. Also, they just released the Beretta 92XI GTS which is DA/SA and the frame mounted safety functions as a decocker
@Steadfast_Collective Yes, I saw the GTS version (grey frame with black slide & all black). But I love the color scheme of 92 XI SAO. You converted this into DA/SA! NICE!! Now I know it can be converted, that's exactly what I gonna do now!! Thanks appreciated 👍🏾👍🏾
How comfortable is the safety as a ledge for your thumb? Some shooters say it’s not as comfortable as the Performance
It’s the same angle and design as the performance. It just doesn’t stick out as far. I like it a lot. It took a little bit to get used the flush safeties but it really doesn’t bother me at all now.
are we just going to gloss over the failure to lock open on empty?
That would be the magazine/follower I am using. Not the gun

@@joelpaloma5847 the barrel does not tilt like a browning action but it also doesn’t have a bushing like a 1911 style. The locking block holds the barrel in place

Where do I get a holster for this gun ...I have one but can't find a holster for it..only for the 92

While the new Xi might be a good gun .....i found it a little odd you claimed you didnm't feel a differene in the "felt recoil" with the 92x Perf which weigh about 10oz more.....there SHOULD be a noticeable difference....this is a an Alu bodied gun vs a steel gun....perhaps the difference isn't "dramatic"....though I'd assume it's still 'there"...
I do see a benefit ....for those that insist on "EDC/CCW" the Xi is a good "middle ground" IMHO...between carryinga heavy 91x Perf vs a Glock 19 MOS.....In all honesty i think "light" polymer guns are just for "gun sales"....for "shootablity" (recreational or defensive) you want "weight" in the gun....benefit is undeniable....a heavy gun will always be "more shootable"...why would anyone give up "shootablity/follo-up shots" vs "carry-ability"?? So many are buying into the marketing of light guns....heh...
Or for competition shoots...WEIGHt/heavy gun mean better control...it's a "built-in feture" :))
If I shoot them side by side I can tell it behaves slightly different but in all honesty I don’t notice it as much if I’m doing everything correct with my grip. I especially don’t notice it in a match.. You can put the XI slide on the 92x performance frame if you already have one.
This or a P226 Legion SAO?
I may be a little biased. However, I have shot both platforms and the 92 platform with its non tilting barrel has a much better recoil impulse. Also, this is a cheaper option and I would encourage anyone to spend the difference on ammo to train.

It’s gotta be about the ugliest safety I’ve ever seen on a gun. I wish it wasn’t on both sides, just makes it twice as ugly.
Beretta sent you a $700 pistol to shoot on their sponsorship? I had to modify the bevel on all of my mags so they would work in the magwell I bought. I love my 92Xi. Limited Optics is going to be a fun division.
They do quite a bit for me. It was great fun shooting it in Limited Optics at Handgun Nationals
