But it’s legal now. Ohio State football makes more money than any other school, so spend it. They also lost 4 recruits to Miami in the last year because of the money they were paying. Since Ohio State has jumped end all the sudden people are upset. At least it’s legal when Day is doing it.
Good takes guys. Next year its all about the depth to win the championship. OSU is at least paying for known players. They are still rolling in recruiting and building a foundation...and then using NIL on players who have earned it on their team or another.
This is such a dumb narrative. They’ve brought in 6 players from the portal and so they are “buying a national championship”.
Meanwhile teams like Ole Miss and Texas A&M are bringing in 15-25 and no problem. You guys are a joke.
“Michigan is doing it right”, adapt or die. If you’re not going to go get the best players (which costs money btw) you’re not going to be competitive. The amount of 5 stars that the sec collects EVERY year is proof positive of that. Better players win games. Do we need to review the amount of titles the sec has over the last two decades?

Biased much?? _ichigan is DONE and will not recover for many years. Ohio State is doing everything LEGALLY, unlike the SEC for decades. We have been a Top 5 program in recruiting for many years - long before NIL. CJ Stroud donated a cool $1M, not $50K, and we didn’t lose to Ole Miss! 🤦🏻♂️

They win every year in Ryan Day's 1st 5 years as a HC 3 CFP appearances, 2 BiG titles, 1 national title game and finished in the top 5 or top 10 every year. Compare that to any other coaches 1st 5 years as HC. Harbaugh was already a HC and lost his 1st 6 games vs OSU and was losing 3-4 games a year on average.

OSU has a VERY favorable schedule in 2024. They really only play 1-2 tough games at Oregon & Michigan at home. However, I don’t think Michigan will be nearly as good. I’m not counting PSU until they can prove to win a big game. I think I’d lean to pick OSU to finish the regular season at #1. UGA will be good, but they play three top 7 teams on the road next year. It’ll be extremely difficult for UGA to go undefeated in the regular season and finish #1. Going all in to win a championship is a huge gamble. If it works out great! If it doesn’t heads could roll. It’s extremely tough to win it all. Not all talented players always work out on new teams and there are other talented teams also trying to win it all. We shall see! Already can’t wait for 2024!
These are the rules now. The SEC did this for years while OSU played by the rules. Call out Miami except they aren't able with with their purchases. Why don't they win? The three best teams in college football were Georgia OSU and ichigam. Wher is Michigan now. The culture of cheating is toxic, but the toxicity will out. That 13 million figure is confabulated.
