Love that backhanded compliments to Deion and Shedeur. Stop being literal, Shedeur is just saying fans and teams get up for their game: sell outs and tv ratings say as much. They were the 4th most watched team with a losing record.
Just look at the ucla game last year. They never sell out

Finebaum words were not true ! In what way is Colorado an easy win ? Five of their losses was by a td or less and only 2 were blowouts . People keep talking about shedeur words but was it not true that every team played them their hardest with the intention to humiliate. Did every team not sellout their games ? Even with some teams not known to sell out their stadiums like UCLA.
Truth is they were in year 1 of an overhaul and a rebuild but their quick start had the media blowing that success out of hand . However to say they will be irrelevant or nothing this year is plain stupid when they upgraded in the trenches, got depth , and play in the big 12. There were multiple team slotted to be bad last year in the big 12 that fought to be in the big 12 championship and had good years like Iowa state and west Virginia who was pick to be last in the big 12 but because it Colorado and Deion they can’t exceed expectations 🤦🏾♂️
They don't pay attention because they're haters. Complaining about the media attention is ironic to say the least. It was the MEDIA that blew things out of proportion, not Colorado fans.

48-41 vs USC
It was 48-21 with 2min left in the 3rd and USC pulled their starters. CU only scored in garbage time and was never n that game
Stanford 46-43
They blew a 29pt lead to arguably the worst team in Power 5/Power 4
UCLA 28-16
It was 28-9 with less than 5min left in the game. Anyone who watched knew CU got completely and embarrassingly dominated physically
ORST 26-19
It was 23-5 in the 4th Qtr before ORST just sat on the ball and CU scored 2 garbage time TDs
AZ 34-31
That was the only loss in which CU didn't score garbage time points and stat pad
UTAH 23-17
The Utes were on their 4th string QB and basically 2nd/3rd string at most positions due to injury...and were still never at risk of losing.
Any non-bandwagon fan who has followed the sport knows that CU isn't good and will be lucky to win 5 games.
"They upgraded the roster"...with mostly players that solid teams didn't want. "They're in the big12"...schedule isn't easy and the big12 teams have better recruits and chemistry than CU. A roster full of solid guys who have been together for 4yrs is always better than a massively turned over roster and coaching staff

USC- the entire game is on UA-cam ! You might want to watch it again! At no point did USC pull there starters out and in the second half CU was scoring at will. So I don’t know where you get stat padding when Caleb Williams was on the field every drive of the game . CU had the ball with 4 minutes left down by 14 so I don’t where you get the game was never close if anything time management was there problems. After they score the clock was just 2 minutes so they had to get an onside kick and USC was beyond nervous because there defense was imploding especially their secondary.
Standford - they imploded on defense in the second half but still had a chance to when in OT but a turnover led to a FG and a loss . Also standford was not the worst team in CFB they went 3-9 so did ASU and there were teams in CFB that went 1-11 . Also that same standford team was on the verge of beating Washington and blew it late in the 4th quarter so please watch some games .
Utah - CU was on it 3rd string QB a true freshman in his first start in college with barely any snaps against a 4 string qb who had a lot of college experience and transfer to Utah. Also CU leading WR was out and so was a bunch of players all over the team . Also The game was close the entire time 🤦🏾♂️ with a bad Dline and player missing they were unable to get the ball back multiple times because they were unable to stop the run ! Also if you had even remotely watch the game you would have know Travis hunter got 2 call that were TD recall and after closeup after the game it was discovered to be actual touchdown.
Arizona - CU literally blew this game they were in the lead the majority of the game and there kicker missed a FG to take the lead . CU Dline literally allow AZ to rush play after play down the field without 1 pass attempted and they kicked the game winning FG with no time left.
Oregon state - your analysis let me know you just looked up stats for all these game. CU defense played amazing causing takeover after takeover led by shilo sanders and allowed only 2td and only FG to follow but the Oline could not protect shedeur to save his life . Finally in the fourth quarter shedeur willed them back within 7 . CU had three timeouts and a little over 2 minutes to stop Oregon state. Again they were bad in the trenches and could not get the stop. So I ask again how was that not a close game 🤦🏾♂️.
UCLA- this is the one where I was like whoever wrote this has to be trolling especially when you said it wasn’t close lol the game was 7-6 at halftime mind you shedeur was getting killed. I’ve never seen a QB take a beating like this in college and still continue to play through it. After the third quarter even without shilo was ejected after that dumb call it was 14-9. Also you said they out physical them lol CU cause multiple turnovers through hard hits and shilo was out because a Hard hit that was deemed targeting 🤦🏾♂️. Along with Travis hunter making 2 crazy int, It wasn’t until toward the midway part of the 4th that CU defense tired out and UCLA scored two td and then CU finally responded with 1 TD but by then it was too late .
Any CU hater without watching the game and just looking at the scoreboard would provide the analysis you did. The main point you could see every game was they couldn’t get timely stops when they needed and they couldn’t protect shedeur to save their life . On top that he had absolutely no running game because of the Oline he literally attempted 430 passes and only threw 3 int with loaded boxes all the time and still put up 3200 yds and 31 total td.
My ending point is they brought in a slew of proven P4 starters that transfer to fill out their flaws in the 2 deep on both side of the trenches while still developing the returning guys on the 3rd string . also guys like Tauren carter and chidozie nwankwo plus many more were not throw ways like you said 🤦🏾♂️ there coach got fired or in carter situation it was his last year and he wanted a bigger platform to improve his draft stock which says alot when he’s coming from playing in the SEC at Arkansas also check there pff they graded out well too .They had a non existent pass rush last year and brought some leading pass rushers from other teams in BJ green (ASU) Dayon Hayes(Pitt) ,and Samuel okunlola (Pitt) plus there more guys. I could go around CU whole team doing this but the point is when you make these massive upgrades center around an elite QB and the best CFB player Travis hunter and say they will only 5 wins its stupid . Along with the fact there going from the PAC 12 that consisted with the likes of Caleb Williams, Bo Nix , Cam ward , and DJ uiagalelei to the big 12 what are we actually talking about!
If you think Colorado is actually good then you don't know college football. Go watch the NFL, that's easier to understand.

Colorado was not a good team in the 2023 - 2024 season, there transfer were loaded with backups and lower FCS players . You might need to just watch nfl football yourself if you don’t understand how upgrades work ! They fill there teams with proven P4 starters who had experience to start and back up there team and finished it off with successful guy at lower Fcs level to fill out the third string along with returning players . On paper this is a Winning team but football is played on the field so they have to go prove it but your response was dumb please do some research before you comment

He’s building his team the same way, when he wins 8 or more games, he will never be given any credit as a coach. Lucky will be the main theme of the media!

It’s not media. MAINSTREAM media is NOT saying Colorado is a playoff team, however they are giving Colorado attention because the PEOPLE want to hear about Colorado good or bad. Shedeur is not saying they are everyone’s superbowl because of how well they play, but according to ticket sales and media attention. Colorado is a big game on their schedule. It’s funny how intelligent people can’t get these basic understandings.
Colorado is going 4-8 (at BEST 6-6) I can actually see them losing to the "Siberian Cave Trolls" up front at NDSU week one.

If CU gets even average production from its new offensive and defensive lines this year the team can win 8-10 games. Shedeur is a top-5 CFB QB and the skill positons are loaded with talent. People looking at the 4-8 finish last year didn't pay attention to the line players Deion added. They were highly sought after in the portal. If they can mesh this will be a good team.

1. Changed Conferences and the BIG XII is better.
2. Replaced several coaches.
3. Went HEAVY in the portal again. Ranked 2nd in roster turnover. This isn’t the NFL or talent level. Continuity in College Football is HUGE.
4. Once again, no depth…They haven’t developed any depth.

Paul is right and wrong. Of course they are not relevant to the playoffs, but they are miles better than they were before Deion got there. Teams definitely made it a mission to whip them last year (Super Bowl) for various reasons. Deion may not be there long term and that is also understandable, but because of who he is, he makes the team overall relevant in the landscape of college football. It is the hate it or love it affect. As long as he is around you or someone you know will talk about him and, in turn, his team, making them both relevant. College football fan boys and pundits can't help but make Paul Finebaum style comments keeping Colorado and others in the spotlight.

Colorado hasn't been relative since 2001. It hadn't been relevant prior to that since 1996.
If their not relevant why is their a segment on them ? Why is everything they do watch so closely and use for clickbait or engagement ? Why are the standards for them so different for any other coach taking over a 1-11 program . All Deion did was take over a bad program and tell everyone he had an expectation of winning! Indiana coach took over after being at James Madison and said they’re coming to win and will beat Michigan plus Ohio state and I didn’t hear one word or reaction

Colorado and Colorado State with a 4.9 rating which didn’t end until 1:30am ET out rated the highest rated SEC clash of Alabama/ Auburn 4.3 rating. This is what scares Eraser Head. Colorado isn’t going to win 4 games this year, (7 basement, 10 ceiling) there are 5 team in the BIG12 that are in the Top 25 and it’s a super competitive conference. Paul realizes, that most likely Colorado will have 6 BIG12 games that will draw more viewers than most of his precious SEC. Not to mention Colorado will play Nebraska and Colorado State again which were both in the Top 10 most viewed games last year. That with a Thursday night game against North Dakota State, Buffs will likely have 9 games in the most viewed games of the season. The problem is, Paul is realizing the “3rd tier conference” is assured to have 5 or 6 games that are outranking his almighty SEC. Sorry Paul, which conference is 3rd tier ;) SEC, SEC, SEC!!!
CU won the Natty with Coach Bill M a long generation ago. They still have relevance But trying to do, in one or two years, what requires six or seven years (if everything goes right) isn't realistic. You've got to love Coach Prime. He did the impossible on the field, as a player, but repeating that success with an entire team isn't going to happen overnight.
