I turned 40 two days ago and never like now before I feel the need to unpause my life and start showing up for myself... little efforts every day, choosing consistency! Thanks for being such an inspiration!!😊 I hope you and your family are doing ok🙏
This video was so inspiring Natasha, I am making sure my kids will understand there are other paths. I followed the status quo and my friends, went to university to get that career for 40 years. Yes I made a lot of money, bought nice things, got it debt, paid that off and realised something is not right here. I was stopped in my tracks young with my health, I had to change my mindset and trading time for money was the awakening. I read more books that opened my eyes. My wife could work more hours to earn more but she’s also at the height of her career and enjoying it without having to bust her ass.
I'm so guilty of not getting enough sleep, I'm tired throughout the day and don't have the energy I should have. My issue is, I've gotten into this rut of staying up late, then get up later than I used to. I've been retired for several years, so it's ok that I'm not up at the crack of dawn. I had to be an early riser when I worked for the government for all the years to earn a retirement. My other issue for lack of sleep, I wake up several times a night, in pain from laying in one position too long; the broken sleep is exhausting. Luckily I made a good decision, 6 years ago and bought a duplex. I live on one side and the other side is a rental unit. The rent I collect pays the mortgage, it has really helped with having more income in retirement.
I agree. The schools NEED to stress money management/budgeting and investing. I know they have a lot to teach and cover but, maybe stressing at least in high school more "life skills" would go a long way in not being broke by the time you are in your 20's, 30;s etc. My midlife awakening happened when I was young. I saw how my mom struggled by her own choice with money and now that I am still dealing with all of her stuff it has caused me to not spend as much except for most basics like food, clothing, shelter, and transportation. My treats/rewards are now more focused on consumables aka food or drinks and less on "stuff".
Thank you for sharing! I think part of the issue is that the school system is designed to train employees, not creators, business owners, etc. It's based on an old construct, google Prussian school system. I only wish I realized this sooner, but when this is what most people are doing, then it's just "how things are". Employees typically live paycheck to paycheck, so have no choice but to keep working in order to keep affording basic needs. A lot of school is just busy work, and things you don't end up using in real life. It's a whole thing, but, it since it wouldn't be easy (or beneficial to the government as a whole) to do a complete overhaul of the education system b/c that would then affect the output of workers, it's up to us to forge our own paths and get the knowledge we actually need to break out of the matrix hahahahaha okay I'm off my soapbox LOL!
It really depends if the ingredients are the scientific names or the colloquial terms. Blueberries have ingredients even scientists might have trouble pronuncing, and most would not recognize them, yet the berries are safe. even healthy for you to consume.
@@brokenguardianangel8575 True, but I believe the meaning here is ingredients that you can't pronounce that are also horrible chemicals used as preservatives. The food made in this country is horrific because our FDA is corrupt😢

Don't eat foods with ingredients your grandmother wouldn't recognize.
Yes!👏🏻
Exactly this!!
