@@yes2next Good news! I saw the knee surgeon today. Went in expecting I would be scheduling surgery as indicated by MRI done on Dec 21st. Instead, surgery in no longer indicated at this time as knee is much improved. I believe your videos are a good part of how that happened. I do the indoor walking, stretching, and full body strength training as well as the knee and hip related videos with you every day. You two, plus Mochi, make it all enjoyable. I was diagnosed with severe arthritis in my left knee so I am started out with x-light tension band and only 1 set on the first day. I plan to slowly increase the number of sets per day and then when comfortable I'll change to the light tension band - slowly increasing to stronger bands as my knee allows. I really enjoy the exercises you present and can feel myself getting stronger and able to move more easily. Thank you for your dedication to helping us improve orur lives.

Since you are helping us seniors to strengthen different body parts, maybe you'd be interested in devising a video using weighed wrist bands to help strengthen our wrists & forearms. It's essential to keep them strong in case of a fall. Strong wrists/forearms could possibly prevent bone breakage and even enable us from sustaining worst injuries if we do fall. Amazon has a wide selection to choose from. They carry assorted types & different size weights starting at 1/2 pound with decent prices.

Even young females may have loose patellas (knee caps). When I was into MA kicking, a PT had me do leg extensions with 10# weights, about 10% of my body weight, and tightening my patella during lifting. Of course, first check with health care provider

This was great thank you. Does anyone know where you can buy those bands from, as I have to tie a loose one and the wider ones yes2next use are much better. I’m in UK.
I got mine from Amazon. I have wide fabric ones and thinner fabric ones which are better for my ankles, calves and arms. I find fabric doesn’t fall or roll down. Hope this helps even if it’s a few months the since you asked.

Enjoy your videos and exercises also. Bit of an old guy hear who enjoys metal detecting on the beach but would very much like to expand to parks yet at parks it is constant up and down from the ground to standing. Do you have an exercise or strategy to get down on knees ( to dig target ) then getting up. This is too hard for me to do. Unsteady I guess -

My knees have been bothering me a bit for the past few days, so I decided to try this workout this morning. Since it was my first time trying it, I did it without resistance bands. I have some resistance bands (the "strappy" kind) that you had recommended in another workout, but I haven't used them yet. I think there are different bands with different levels of resistance. (heavy, medium & light). Would you recommend that I start with the light ones next time and work my way up to the heavy ones eventually? (March 31, 2024)
Hi there! Yes, listen to your body regarding the resistance. It's great you started without the bands. Begin with the lightest resistance and see how it feels. If and when it feels easy, try adding more resistance by either increasing tension on the light band or moving up to the higher resistance band. Keep on building muscle! 💪

This was great thank you. Does anyone know where you can buy those bands from, as I have to tie a loose one and the wider ones yes2next use are much better. I’m in UK.
I got mine from Amazon. I have wide fabric ones and thinner fabric ones which are better for my ankles, calves and arms. I find fabric doesn’t fall or roll down. Hope this helps even if it’s a few months the since you asked.

Enjoy your videos and exercises also. Bit of an old guy hear who enjoys metal detecting on the beach but would very much like to expand to parks yet at parks it is constant up and down from the ground to standing. Do you have an exercise or strategy to get down on knees ( to dig target ) then getting up. This is too hard for me to do. Unsteady I guess -

We're glad you enjoy our workouts. Doing strength training to strengthen your lower body, upper body, and core will build muscle to help make that up and down action easier. My knees have been bothering me a bit for the past few days, so I decided to try this workout this morning. Since it was my first time trying it, I did it without resistance bands. I have some resistance bands (the "strappy" kind) that you had recommended in another workout, but I haven't used them yet. I think there are different bands with different levels of resistance. (heavy, medium & light). Would you recommend that I start with the light ones next time and work my way up to the heavy ones eventually? (March 31, 2024)
Hi there! Yes, listen to your body regarding the resistance. It's great you started without the bands. Begin with the lightest resistance and see how it feels. If and when it feels easy, try adding more resistance by either increasing tension on the light band or moving up to the higher resistance band. Keep on building muscle! 💪

Has you mum have back issues? I was just wondering because with the 'walking' with the band around the thighs she was leaning a bit from side to side. I'm not being negative to your mum. I absolutely love her. I was just wondering.
