What truth? There is NOTHING in the scriptures that says Mary remarried after Joseph and had more children. Jesus referred to John the younger as his "brother." But that was a term of friendship only.

This message came while I was cleaning up my kitchen (Friday Feb. 1, 2019 at around 9:50 A.M.).
When a deceiving spirit gains control over a person he will move on the person to make an investment in the deception (e.g. time, money, cult membership, going public with it, etc.) as it will strengthen his control. This is especially true of religious spirits (which are the highest echelon of deceiving spirits in the kingdom of darkness hierarchy).
It is very important to religious spirits to have their subject be always busy religion-wise, and talking a lot of religious talk, because that's how they manifest (which they are obsessed to do as they are under grueling pressure from their higher-ups to perform). As the religious spirit speaks through the person their religious talk is very comforting to others who are also under the control of religious spirits, which goes a long way to explain the itching ears syndrome the Apostle Paul foresaw and foretold about in 2 Tim. 4:3-4 (King James Version).
UA-cam is literally awash with religionists who are controlled by religious spirits, and undiscerning Christians are flocking to them in droves, just as the Apostle Paul foretold. It's all very sad.

Acts 9:1-22 tells us Paul’s encounter with Jesus. He fell from off his horse. The others riding with him heard voices, but saw no one. He was unable to ride on his horse. He was blind. Phillip was told by Jesus to go to a street called Strait and pray for Paul to receive his sight. Phillip was afraid to go because he was one of those persecuted young Paul. He was obedient to go as Jesus command him to. After he prayed for Paul scales came from off his eyes. Go kept His word. We all know how much Paul suffered for the Gospel of Christ.

You got some of your facts wrong. James and Jesus are not brothers. Jame's mother Mary was at the crucifixion and so was the mother of Jesus who is also called Mary. Judas is not from the blood line of Cain because they died in the flood.

The "James" statement at the beginning seems to not be accurate. There were 2 James: James son of Zebedee and , indeed one of the apostles, and then James brother of Jude and an elder from the Jerusalem congregation. The second James were not the apostle who did die as a martyr before.

Paul, who wrote more letters than anyone tells of who taught him and then he went to meet the others in Jerusalem in Galatians 1&2 Being taught for 3 years by revelation. I think this makes, especially after his conversion was recognized by the others, to be an apostle just as much as Mathis who was never heard of again.

Matthias was the replacement of Judas not Paul.
Jesus's choice was Paul. Paul is a true Apostle of the Lord to anyone in the faith and he wrote that God had set him apart from birth. He was chosen by grace not merit. Why then would Jesus via the Spirit lead the 11 to choose a replacement as He had already set aside Paul? If we read acts we see the 11 chose 2 then prayed then cast lots. They failed to wait on a answer from Jesus. This is in their favor. Their motives were pure and they could not have known about Paul at that time. The event did take place and the accounting of it is truthful.

I FULLY agree with you. Joseph was still alive when Jesus went to the temple at age 12. This give Joseph plenty of time to have fathered Jesus' brothers and sisters before he was 12. We also don't know exactly when he died and so he could have fathered other children after Jesus was 12 years old too. Also the Jude and James that were Jesus' disciples were not his brothers. In John 7:1-9 we are told that Jesus' brothers didn't believe that He was the Messiah. The scripture did not say that His brothers Joses & Simon did not believe in Him, which the scripture would have had to say if indeed Jesus' brothers James and Judas were his disciples like this video says they were. Also the bible does not say that James and Thaddeus were brothers, like it says that James and John were brother and that Peter and Andrew were also brothers. Why would Matthew, Mark and Luke leave this important fact out? Also no where in the gospels is Thaddeus referred to as Judas. This is another significant fact that should have been recorded in scripture if it were true.

Why did he have to die for our sins?
Just how does that work with Jesus dying for our sins? WHO demanded that he die? I mean when you say he paid the price , to whom was it paid? If I go to a store and buy something I pay the shop owner. Who demanded Jesus die? I can't find it anywhere in the bible. The best I can conclude from the story is that god had to kill himself to appease himself so he could save us from ????

@@psalms91explainsall27 This is far from being a great video. The very first "fact" is straightforwardly wrong already. James the Lesser and Judas Thaddeus, although brothers themselves, were never brothers of Jesus. According to scholars, they were most likely Jesus' cousins, for in Aramaic language there's only a single word to describe "brother" and "cousin". Another possibility is that Mary and Joseph adopted James and Judas after their biological parents (likely their close relatives) passed away. At the time, it was common for people to adopt and raise their relatives kids as their own if needed.
Also, it is said in the video that Paul is the replacement of Judas Iscariot, that is also very wrong. Although Paul is said to be the 13th apostle, he did not join their cause as Judas replacement. It is a well known fact among Christians that Matthias was Judas' replacement. The text shown at 5:21 is actually proof of that! The fact that Matthias did not write a gospel means nothing, as most of the apostles didn't write gospels themselves either. At no point in the New Testament Jesus expresses discontentment over Matthias' selection, that's simply a lie. Matthias is said to have received the Holy Spirit, suffered martyrdom, and was canonized saint as any other apostle (except Judas, of course).

A wonderful presentation. I greatly appreciate it, but I may differ slightly on point 7 (Paul was the replacement to Judas). The Bible presents a different person, not Paul. True Paul did a lot of work for the Gospel, but he was not among the twelve, as you said, he never even met Christ- the human. Reading the story before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the eleven recognize that Judas Iscariot was "numbered with" them (Acts 1:17), but he had died in sin; and so they choose another, giving the requirements that such a one must have "companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John" to the ascension (Acts1:21-26); and so they chose Matthias that "he take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell..." (vs.25)
It was not what the Apostles did, It was rather the fact that they served your God and mine.

Paul did not meet that requirement!! Paul became an Apostle in his own right because HE was the only person to see the GLORIFIED Christ!! While the twelve Apostles went to the Tribes of Israel; Paul went to the Gentiles!!!

It is more likely that Joseph an older man might have had these sons by a previous marriage. There is a slight suggestion of seniority of his brothers.
Scripture doesn’t tell us Joseph’s age. No doubt he was a young man at the height of his strength and able to endure the rigors of travel that lay ahead.

No, He is right. Jesus was both man and God at the same time. And he read a scripture that is in the Bible where Jesus says you have not chosen me but I have chosen you. The men(apostles) chose Matthias....God did not. They cast lots to make the Choice. And Jesus CALLED Paul to do a work. Not Matthias. And it was Paul who had the anoiting of God. That is the point he is making. You have to be called by GOD, not men to become an APOSTLE for it is GOD'S ANOINTING that gives an apostle power - it is not the nomination of men.

Yes, but The Apostles did that. Jesus is God. And one of the signs of Apostle was being chosen by God. Notice the Apostles did not choose each other. Jesus Christ chose them. At the end of Revelation, (Rev 21:14) there are only 12 Apostles of the Lamb. (Not 9, 13, or 11)

Those "brothers" of the Lord Jesus Christ were probably His cousins. In the Holy Gospel of St. Matthew 13:55 you will discover that St. James, Joses, Simon, and Judas are all called the "brothers of Christ." Cousins then as today were often affectionately referred to as brothers and sisters.
Further support of this, would be the Lord Jesus Christ placing His loving mother, St Mary in the care of St John, the Beloved, at His Holy Crucifixion. This would have been against the Law of Moses, had St Mary had any children or stepchildren.

Brother or sister also refers to first cousins. So your uncle/aunt children will be your brother/sister. Going even further, anyone who is of your generation (doesn't matter their age), as long as they are related to you via marriage, become your brother/sister. Example: I am an only child of my mum. There is an Error in stating Paul Never Met Christ, Since the birth of Saul (Paul)is estimated at 5 A.D., he would have been somewhere around the age of 28-31 at his conversion.
And since He was A Pharisee at the Same time that Christ was Entering His Ministry, I would think that Paul was observing Christ so He could Justify His acts of Persecution of Followers of The Way.

BTW, the narrator of the video ends it with the reference to Yeshua Christ. He should know better than to mix Aramaic with Greek.

Because JOHN was literally Jesus brother! As Jesus was the elder he was passing on the responsibility of looking after her after his death. There is no mention of earlier children, they would have had to travel with them to Bethlehem, no mention, only the 2 of them! And the Hebrew term for brother is unmistakable, and cannot be confused as brethren either, in fact Jesus was OLDER than the other two, so its an impossibility for them to be half brothers from an earlier marriage. In fact God told Joseph to consummate his Marriage with Mary after Christ was born, clearly! So being she was no longer a virgin, it can be well expected she other children. There is nothing in the bible that Mary remained a virgin, it does however state clearly the opposite in more than a few scriptures.

So little of what people really understand the Bible!! Paul persecuted the early church out of zeal for the Word of God as the Jews had it at that time (namely the Old Testament)! On his way to Damascus, Paul had an encounter with Christ! Christ identified himself to Paul, and later in Damascus, Paul was led to0 the saving grace of Christ!! Paul had a unique relation with Christ (which I often wished to have); And fourteen years later returned to Jerusalem and with the blessings of the Twelve began his missionary journey's!!
It's the old movement which teaches that Paul had a different gospel. They call it the Pauline gospel.
These are people who got sidetracked because they did not have the discernment to understand the bible. There is no word for cousin in that language. They would have used a word like brethren which could mean a family member. Jesus told his mother while speaking of John, "Behold thy son." And to John he said, "behold thy mother." There was no brother at home to care for Mary. It would have been an insult to the two apostles you say were His brothers, to give His Mother to some other person to take care of if He had brothers. Those apostles were Jesus's cousins.
