A tragic end is to live without fulfilling God's purpose for your life since your purpose is the real reason why you were born when you were born. The worst tragedy is to die without receiving forgiveness for one's sins and accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour. This life is like 3 days when compared to eternity, regardless of whether you live to be 8, 18 or 81. So to spend eternity separated from God and tortured by the evil one is the worst end ever. The son of perdition, Judas did have a tragic end. The rest of the Apostles lived and died serving the Lord. They closed their eyes in this realm and opened them in the presence of their beloved Lord and entered into their eternal rewards. That's a wonderful end imo. You give credit for revelations to john. But john was only the transcriber, JESUS is the author.
