Good video! I tried doing further research after watching and found out that there was another candidate qualified to replace Judas the Iscariot who is named Joseph Barsabbas! The apostles casted their lots between him and St. Matthias (see Acts 1:21-26). Just a fun fact I suppose!

Great analysis! One thing about who wrote the four Gospels - most scholars agree that Matthew and John were written by the Matthew and John (John also being refereed to as the disciple whom Jesus loved most) who were of the original 12. Mark and Luke, however, were not of the original 12. Luke was a Gentile (non-Jews) and his gospel account is written from the perspective of a historian looking to show this truth to other Gentiles. Mark (called John Mark in the book of Acts) is known for being a sort of helper to Simon Peter.
In general, Matthew's gospel appeals to the Jewish community, often making it a point to showcase when Old Testament prophecies had been fulfilled through Jesus. Mark's gospel is typically considered to be the first one written. Luke's gospel tends to point out important historical details of the day. John's gospel provides a more in-depth theological analysis of the implications laid out by Jesus.

I was raised in a very religious muslim household so this is the second religion I'm studying
Ephesians, one of my favorites for instruction and for hope, is by Paul, the prophet of the gentiles, once called Saul, before Christ appeared to him. Leviticus mentions all the things God considers an abomination and Deuteronomy goes into laws as well, but if you want to learn what Jesus told us to do and not do, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the first 4 books of the New Testament, are what contain the teachings of Jesus. Those are most important. Revelation is all about end times prophecy and Jesus mentions somewhere that if you read that while under the Holy Spirit, and understand what the meanings of those prophecies are, the hidden stuff in the rest of thee bible becomes revealed to you. It was reading Revelation that set me on my journey with God's Word. You might need help with some background info on the allegorical references in Revelation. Daniel gives similar prophecy.
Wow. Thanks for the insight. Back when I was Catholic a priest once told me that if I wanted to read the entire Bible to start with the New Testament first and then the Old one second as it could make it more understandable. But what you're saying makes a lot of sense and I'll try reading it that way. Blessings 🙏🏼

What is the name of the music playing in the background?
It's actually Thomas (The Twin). He was the first to acknowledge that Jesus was indeed the Lord and also offered to die for him. Kind of sad we call him doubting as he didn't believe the disciples, yet he knew Jesus and was blown away when he seen him. I find Thomas to be so much more important than what he gets credit. He knew Jesus was the Lord.
Some of us KNOW. Yet we doubt what he can actually do.

Does anyone think maybe it's kind of a coincidence that TIME referred to the 12 people with Jesus? 12 months a year? 12 o'clock? 2012 when the person happens to realized he's the second coming? Reincarnation is real and he's here now.

Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years?
The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. In this world, the great fertility of atheism can be explained by the fact that there is no main opponent of critics of the Bible - the Church. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist.

Such lies it's just sad. There was no "early church" they didn't rely on a building like the Jews did the synagogues and they just called themselves the way. We the people who believe in Christ are the church the church has existed since 2000 years ago because in order for the church to be no more We, Christians, must be no more. Many people at the time of Jesus did not believe in him and many still who saw him didnt even believe he was doing real miracles and those who did said it was miracles said it was from the devil. Those signs and wonders where needed for the early church and for prophecy but they are not needed now hence why they have stopped until the return of Jesus. While God can and has worked superstitiously, Providentially, Divinely, and miraculously. The miraculous signs done in the past are no longer needed as they were until Jesus returns. To suggest all of Christianity isn't Christianity and that everyone isn't a true Christian is so off the mark. The different sects exist because of our disagreement on how to do offshoot things but not the fundamental part being Christ's message. Atheists exist because it is the end times, and God had fortold of the world getting more corrupt and they woukd still exist anyhow even if we could preform miracles. The world is falling deeper and deeper into corruption then there will be a great persecution of the church where many people will leave the Church. Church again being Us the believers in Christ who make up the body of the Church and Christ being it's head. If you are a true believer and not someone trying to lead people astray then I suggest you delve deep into the word and study it again and not rely on the videos you find on UA-cam.
And the prophecy of the church's disappearance has to do with believers being taken up to be with God upon revelation and coming back at the end of times.

People will believe fiction is nonfiction. Freud wrote the antidote to Christianity is literacy. No one seeks prophets in The Yellow Pages. Nothing fails like prayer in a children's hospital & even The Christ says faith is proven worthless by the failure of mountains responding to verbal, grandiose landscaping commands.
In at least one Gospel (translating from my language), Thomas is called Thomas the Twin, which some modern scholars (and seemingly Da Vinci) have tave taken to mean "Jesus' twin", for another interesting bit of trivia.
Also, it's quite interesting how in English you distinguish between Jude and Judas, since they technically had the same name (like James and James, and Simon and Simon).

I heard what you said. But I disagree with Paul. He was not one of the 12. He wasn't with Christ. He had no witnesses to prove he talked with Christ. It's just his word. When the New Jerusalem come the 12 of the Apostles will be there. I don't think Paul's name is in the New Jerusalem. Paul contradicts Jesus in some of his saying like death and your Resurrection. This topic is not discuss at all. People resurrections is talked about threw out the Bible. One is what Lazarus sister said about Lazarus resurrection at the end of days. Many people believe the Rapture. This is from Paul and not from Jesus. We will all go threw the tribulation period. Why are people go up when Christ is coming here? We will be Resurrected to Christ when he COMES down to this earth. Then the sheep and the goats are separated. When we die Christ said we go to the grave or dust and we sleep and we are quite. No one has gone to Heaven but the first fruits and Jesus. No one else. Sorry but the Bible doesn't say anything different. It's a nice story that we go to Heaven but that's it. It's just a Catholic story. We were formed from the dust and we go back to the dust. Why do people want to go to Heaven if its going to be destroyed? Christ preached The Kingdom the New Jerusalem not Heaven. Jesus will lead us 8nto the New Jerusalem after Judgement so we will be with him and the father and the Holy Spirit. There is no Temple there. But we will be safe when God makes the new earth and the new Heaven or the COSMOS or Universe. I believe there was more to Gods plan then we know of when it comes to the COSMOS. Maybe we have other homes there as well according to Isiah. But to me Paul is not an Apostle

As for Paul, he may not have been one of the Lord's disciples but he is widely accepted as one who has a voice in conveying lessons for mankind. Where else could he have learned these lessons unless through our mighty God. Again "Faith"... I was unaware that Armageddon (the rapture, or End of Times) was written by Paul. It's in my Bible, I will have to check my facts. Have you ever met or known someone who had a brush with death or was in a coma and pronounced dead? Only to hear an account of what that person experienced while they were pronounced dead... Truth that they encounter an afterlife and many meet with Jesus. Read "Life After Life" by Thomas Moody. I don't think there is really any debate as to whether or not the Apostle wrote the gospel. From what I'm aware basically all scholars agree that the gospels were not written by the historical Matthew, Mark, Luke and John rather they were written by anonymously different times by various Christians scribes whose names we will never know, and the names were attached to them later.

You can get understanding from the book of Daniel at the last chapter. In the book of Mathew Jesus quotes Daniel about the abomination of desolation and the end of days. please read Daniel chapters 7 till the end. Jesus told us you keep our eyes on Jerusalem. It's all about the Temple. When the daily sacrifices starts. You will be in the Tribulation period this is also the time of the two witnesses. When the daily sacrifices stops is when the Antichrist stops it. It will be 3 1/2 years from this point when Christ will return. Those that make it threw the tribulation period are called blessed.

A disciples is a convert who established in the basic of the Christian faith and capable of raising up new convert and discipline them . Disciple means a learner , a pupil , someone who learns follow maturity in Christ Jesus resulting in spiritual stability , growth and reproduction .
He took fishermen Peter from their boats and made them into fisher of man . Jesus believe that ordinary people could become extra -ordinary when empowered by the Holy Spirit .
