It’s interesting that the Prince can speak English fluently but gives his answers in Arabic. Boss move.
Like Putin, he speaks English but only speaks Russian. It's a nationalistic thing, and they don't want to look like they're pandering to the west.
@@Oscar-vv6dn I might as well do that
mashallah
It would be better if he spoke in English. Arabia already likes him. If he wants to connect with Americans and the West it’s best that he speak in English.
@@Oscar-vv6dn It isn’t about pandering. It’s about connecting with the people of nations where one is trying to change perceptions. If a US President can speak the language of the country they visit, by all means speak their language.
When you go to any country you respect what they believe and what they do. Americans act like they can do whatever wherever.
During covid-19 their overseas citizenship rarely obey rules in country where they lives such as social distancing and wearing mask, like what majority american do in their country.
Of one goes by a moral code and truly tries to do the best they can certain things will become obvious. Like the thing that everyone should be treated equally or that everyone should be able to express themselfes through clothing freely. Those are not american values. They are universal values. Those are the kinds of things these journalists are trying to spread. A believe can be wrong and immoral. Just because people believe in something doesn't make it accepteble. The sharia is one of those examples.
the views of most saudi men would fit in well with the incel crowd in the states
@Bantu Piscies 😂😂😂🤡🤡
@@rasin9391 woman should have the right to drive and work and play significant roll in building the society but under what moral code does the women go in when she wares almost uncovering clothing where there are all kind of bad pepole in the street just called and harased like what happens in the western countries yeah we can involve but it never costs us our culture
Why don’t u go to israel and ask the Palestinians about the changes
Agree!
Well, Saudi is takes the lead in Middle East and mainly influence others beyond The Middle East (including Islamic countries in Africa & Europe).
@MrImpossible96 go and research you will see what saudi arabia has done it helped a lot of poor countries
Its Palestine 🇵🇸
MrImpossible96 and Middle East is a joke too 😂😂
When you go to a Country that is not Yours You must respect their laws. It's that simple.
Absolutely but if I go to China,I won't become a Buddhist. People also need to understand that.Women in Saudi don't know another life. That is why they stay.If they knew the freedoms they could have...let's not forget the pricesses who tried to literally run from Saudi. Many of your women dream to have the freedoms that Western women have and that is a fact. They follow American tabloids and newspapers, because they are interested. Many women marry within an arranged marriage to a relative.Aside the fact that it isn't healthy and it's just gross,it's not a love marriage.Your wives will never ever love you. That's why they bring a few kids into the world and then request a house of their own. Then you marry a 2nd wife.Nobody's perfect, but give girls the choice,a real choice and you'll see that 90% minimum, will not choose to wear a burqa, hijab and so on.
They can’t bc they want there agenda 😅
I'd say the same to those who come to Finland. An imam was recently convicted of hitting his wife with an screwdriver here.
Yeah and same applies for Muslims when they come to the west
Also it seems that women who don’t wear and don’t want to wear it are not only visitors but locals too like me for example
@@TekhnoPython I hope, You guys make sure these teachings are not injected in kids as well. Otherwise you are going to face a bigger problem in future. Religious text books need to undergo careful inspection and any rules that fundamentally go against the state rule should be emitted as well, because no child should be taught "beating wife is okay" when state rule says otherwise.
It's not the cloth that oppresses the women it's the closed minds.
Agree closed frozen minds
May Allah keep us steadfast on his deen, may he make us always stand with the truth even if it's against our own selves, may he help, guide and bring all Muslim back to his Deen in a beautiful way.
It’s culture not religion or clothes
If you had an open mind the cloth wouldn't be necessary lmao
Why now peoples wear the mask 😷 ?
"-what did u learn about him?
-he's bold"
u didn't have to go there to notice that
lmao
LOL 😂😂
There is a difference between bald and bold.
Bold means brave, bald doesn’t.
I’m dying right now 🤣
The simple thing to do is RESPECT other people’s cultures.
Exactly
@@Harris.S Exactly
Other people's cultures should respect their own people.
drz there you go. That’s the answer.
Why? I'm honestly asking. I grew up learning that you must respect people's religions and other cultures but as an adult I see so much oppression in almost every single religion and many many cultures. Why should I respect that? I respect people who respect other people. I don't respect a culture who treats 1/2 of their population like second class citizens. I certainly don't respect religions who do that same thing.
Nudity and decadence in the West consider it freedom even though all monotheistic religions commanded women to be modest

60 minutes usually disable the comment section, I wonder why this is not so when it comes to Muslims or Arabs? Not really,
Because they demand freedom of expression without restrictions towards Arabs and Muslims, and they try to fuel this thing in the comments because they attack Arabs and Muslims. As for restricting comments to non-Arabs and Muslims, they do not want freedom of expression in their subjects, even if many oppose them, and they do not want to fuel hostility between them, and they also do not want it to spread among people so that they do not demonstrate and demand change. All of this is called political media, which has secret objectives that the general public is not aware of.

American culture is individual liberty. You are free to emulate Kim Kardashian if you want to (but only a minority Americans do). You are free to wear a hijab and pray 5 times a day if you want to (again, only a minority Americans do). But both these groups do it of their own free will. And this is the way it should be! Please stop your dishonest misinterpretation.
Majority of common Americans do not emulate Kim Kardashian. And majority of them do not cover up themselves like women do in Islamic countries either. In my opinion, Kim Kardashian and Hijab/Niqab/Burka wearing woman are two extreme ends of a spectrum.. and I personally do not like over-exposure of bodies or totally covering them up either. Most Americans fall in between... and that is normal, healthy!
In my opinion, by over-exposing or by over-covering-up you are over-sexualizing your body.. treating it like a sexual object, giving too much prominence to your sexuality... A female body is not an object that it needs to be either on full display or totally hidden.

The problem is Islam. Not muslims. Such backward practices will keep any country at bay. The only way for a country to develop is to distance itself from Islam. Like Dubai for instance.
No you don't have the choice to wear what you want. Stop lying. You also don't have the choice of free travel without male guardianship. You also have a lot of social pressure to listen to men even if it's not necessary a legal requirement. You can't do a thing without male permission and pretending you can doesn't help the women there who are facing violence.

Women driving is such a superficial show put on by the Saudi government. It’s embarrassing how the US government insists on a partnership with this country and then tries to act like a moral compass for the rest of the world.
What if ppl went to america and preached to americans that they should stop stripping down and baring all their bits. Why does america think it has any right to tell others how to live.
We aren't trying to change them culturally, just make them more democratic, less discriminatory and more free. Enforcing those principles globally is a very very just cause.
Here they aren't arguing that women should strip down, they are arguing that women should have the freedom to decide to do that if they please, without fear of society, or the state.

😊👍✨✨✨🇦🇪🕊️✨. Hello. You. ✨
This is a socio-cultural change partly driven by economic factors too. Saudi economy cannot continue to rely on income from oil as the industry all over the world is slowly beginning to make a transition to green energy. They can no longer have half of the population (women) not being economically productive, while in other nations women are increasingly entering the workforce. They can foresee that economically they will lag behind in the long-run if Saudi women don't enter the workforce.
Of course, it's not practical that working women wait for other people (male members of family, or drivers) to always drive them around, hence allowing them to drive is a practical thing to do.
Considering all these, the Saudis have decided to bring changes to their society. Hence, partly it's driven by necessity; not really a concern for women's rights.
I've never thought of it that way.....
I wonder if the younger generation of women are rebelling against the control. If the vast majority of SA women are educated then surely they will start to demand the right to cultivate their own identity beyond wife, mother, daughter and good Muslim woman?
I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be to have attained professional qualifications and then be stuck at home with babies if it's not personally chosen, but culturally imposed.
@@nataliemccall7291 Saudi women rebelling? I don't think so. May be a few rare women once in a while! But the vast majority of Saudi women are well-tamed, quite brainwashed to "stay in their place". Their social/cultural laws are quite harsh. Also remember that sexism & patriarchy's enablers have never been solely men. Women have been almost equally their torch bearers, actively helping men tame the occasional rebels, shaming them, ostracizing them. In case of societies like Saudi Arabia where religious police enforces laws, women report such rebels to the law as aggressively as men do.
I do hear rebellion among younger Iranian women (and men too). But Iranians have always been a different people from the Arabs - culturally, as well as intellectually.
I think my assessment in my original comment is quite accurate... The granting of these rights to Saudi women stems more from necessity rather than a concern for their rights. A few days back, I was listening to a liberal Pakistani intellectual talking about this same issue. His assessment was incidentally also the same.
@@MsSandhu9 thanks for your explanation. Let us hope that the younger generation can break free...
Inflation and money printing is the reason women have been brainwashed to work through feminism in the western world. They masked it as a way of them being liberated but they actually had to start working with the currencies getting more and more inflated. Before they took away the Gold standard the money was worth a lot more hence why majority of men could work and women stay home and take care of the children.

Maybe you could use that free time to come up with solutions to the issues relating to women that you have in the west; rape rate, single mothers, domestic abuse, the need of infirmary, drug abuse, alcoholics, homelessness, women objectification and modern ways of prostitution that usually uses women that are in NEED for shelter(aka. they don’t really consent to it), STDs, women killing their fetuses to enjoy irresponsible sex with a careless random idiot, I could go on and on. Saudi is not perfect but compared to the west, if you make it your role model your country will improve at so many levels🤍🤍👌🏻☺️

Thank you ma’am/sir for displaying your ignorance. No, but seriously do you think we are like that? Do you live in a bubble or something? There’s a world out there! Check it out, it’s cool. You will know all the stereotypical thoughts are false and actually there are other non-American beautiful cultures out there!

Or you could continue watching what CNN wants you to see when relates to Islam/Muslims! 🤷♀️
