I had been so out of touch. First heard him at a local recital in a small church about four years ago. Didn't realise he was so important, but I knew instantly that it was the best live piano recital I had ever heard and probably ever will hear. Have been following him enthusiastically ever since.
Amazingly beautiful!!! Listen to it again and again. Lang lang's performance is absolutely super wonderful!!!
I got to see this live, I made my mum take me hours early so I could get a good seat on the lawn and watch this

I love the zooming pictures on the piano lid. That's classy right there. I also love how Lang Lang blasts through those octaves like an impatient teenage, that really brings youthful vigor to this old warhorse!

Yes, I agree EA below. I heard Lang Lang (LL) being interviewed by Parkinson in Australia and LL said he studies the history and context in order to get the feel of every piece he plays. Lang Lang is tops in personality and style. He oozes with talent. LL is

Those who criticize Lang Lang by his look or his movements are stupid. Music is supposed to be heard, not viewed. Lang lang almost achieves musical perfection here...
A performance is supposed to be watched too, it's part of the experience. With that said I have much more appreciation for performers that shows they are attatched to the music they're playing, instead of sitting there like a dead worm. No matter how well they play.

I don't understand the negative comments going toward Lang Lang, especially coming from those who clearly aren't in the place to do so. His playing here is actually not bad. So there. Nice lang lang. This is one of the concertos that you do very well with.

Quite clever: American orchestra, Russian song, Chinese pianist and the song is about a war that took place (in part) in Europe. All the major Allies are there.

Belittling a pianist of others' choice is tantamount to slapping his fans, the same could come back to you. I hope you realize things that you don't want to happen to you should not happen to others as well.
