    Cody got insanely lucky in BB22 that Josh and Kaycee got covid. A Josh, Kaycee, Bayleigh, Tyler, Da'vonne, and David alliance likely dominates the game and potentially takes out Cody early in the game before Josh inevitably becomes the first two time winner.

      @@Destiny-8 Yes and no. They should respect his gameplay, however a truly outstanding player would recognize that in order to win, you need to do as much as you can to not leave a bitter taste in the jury’s mouths. Paul masterminded everything, but he lied about it and didn’t own up to it, so when Josh spilled the beans in his goodbye messages and they all compared notes in jury, they were furious that he wouldn’t own up to anything that he did. Imo, players only deserve to win for moves that they own up to doing.

    From what I can remember Christine from BB16 actually said later that she knew what she was doing by joining those power alliances, but production forced her to say that it was a lucky "being in the right place at the right time" moment. You know, with how much the producers seem to like BB16, I've always thought it was pretty tacky how they never seem to show post-game interviews of the houseguests who were given bad edits, like Christine or Victoria. Especially after Kaycee sprung her ankle on one of the finals where clearly her and Fessy would have won. Also, a lot of the men on the show are actual athletes and a lot of the women have clearly been chosen because they’re all essentially model types. I think having Kaycee there really pushes all the ladies and future ladies to come in with some real athletic training because there’s essentially no girl that is going to beat her in the physical comps - maybe Laurel? A lot of this “luck” feels like producers pulling strings ngl

    • @Ethanimale
      @Ethanimale  2 роки тому +1

      I would argue that my definition of “luck” in Big Brother is certain events, actions, or decisions made completely outside of your control, without any of your influence at all, that benefits you. So production “rigging” the game in Paul’s favor would be lucky in my eyes because Paul did not choose or make any decision to impact their game, they were simply lucky that production was motivated to keep Paul in the game through whatever means necessary

    nicole got lucky in bb18 that half the jury was going to vote for a girl no matter what

    • @NYChica23
      @NYChica23 Рік тому

      I wouldn't say half the jury would, because Paulie and Corey were Nicole's closest allies in the game, so their votes had honestly nothing to do with her gender, Zakiyah just was gonna do whatever Paulie did, and Natalie was never gonna vote Paul because of the way they openly bragged about how much they were gonna trash her in their goodbye message to her/not liking how they talked about women using the c word. Michelle would've voted for anyone who wasn't Nicole, guy or girl, and Bridgette ultimately ended up voting Paul to win. Da'vonne even said during one of the jury house segments that she was leaning towards voting Nicole because of how everyone on the jury was there because of her and she wasn't getting targeted

      We actually don't know if Haleigh would've won, because if production DQ's him at the time he puts his butt on the disc, they'd have to do a redo with everyone who was still on when Tyler got DQ'd in the interest of fairness, and there's no telling how that alternate scenario ends up...maybe Haleigh wins, maybe one of the remaining L6 people does

      There have been talks about Derrick pregaming the Committee before the season even began, and there were also rumors that Dan helped pregame Memphis in, then Cody goes into the second half of the first HOH and is allowed to see the board before the platforms have even stopped wobbling, so personally, I would say 100% yes. But we're not quite actually sure.

    • @TripleBBBBB

      @@TripleBBBBB I've heard that Cody/Enzo have hung out pre BB22 since they live close to each other, and Cody/Nicole were still close from BB16, plus Cody also said on feeds that part of the reason he really wanted to work with Nicole was because he was also grateful to her for staying loyal to Paulie on 18, and then add that Dani was in that group of players that showed up to the house to congratulate Nicole when Victor proposed to her on the show, so there's too much of a coincidence there for it to not be somewhat pregamed

    I still think y'all r kinda undermining X's Win .. I know I commented this b4 but imma say it again idc🤷🏽 Yes X might've gotten lucky a couple of times but you're constantly making it seem like he was just sitting doing nothing.. They made the CO and EVERYONE benefited from it.. Not just X.. He won the 3rd Hoh it wasn't by luck .. By saying his team kept winning that's why he got there but that will literally mean the Whole King's Team got Lucky😄 And then people saying he's a big threat he was they didn't make this shit up they saw him from inside the house. N I think @ that point understood how he was playing the game.. He wasn't like THE mastermind like Tiff .. The Comp beast like Ky but he was somewhat in the middle.. He BEASTED the comps he wanted to win and he masterfully executed the throwing of comps strategy... Forgive me but it really bothers me when you ppl don't give credit where credit is due .. Yes he's lucky but don't say it like he floated and won lol tf!!!!! The 1 part where I would say Xavier REALLY got Lucky was the f6 when they talked f2 with Ky n he won hoh.. he ddnt have to do much 😄.. OK I'm done n I said what I said ☺

    • @Ethanimale

      I appreciate your comment and I agree with most things that you said. I understand how it can come across as me saying that Xavier didn’t do anything and that he was just super lucky and that’s the only reason that he won, but I do think that Xavier is a good/great player in general. I would say he is pretty handily the 3rd if not 2nd most apt player on BB23, he was solid in almost all categories, and I think he’s capable in most aspects of the game. When I say that he’s lucky, what I mean is that he was put in a lot of really good scenarios through minimal effort of his own and we weren’t able to see how X would be able to respond to bad situations because he kept being put into good situations through the work of Tiffany and Kyland at times. I think X is more than capable of getting himself out of sticky situations on his own, but we never got to see it because at times he got lucky and was saved from these positions without even knowing it. I still think he’s a good player though and I apologize that it seems like I harp on X as a player, I think he’s a good player but got lucky a lot which stopped us from seeing just HOW good of a player he can be
