I'm a recent stroke victim 74 years old and understand how stubbornness keeps you alive! Keep it up!
Thank you! I hope the stroke hasn't slowed you down any either! ~Trina
This man just inspired me! Although I'm only 28 and I served 8 years in the U.S. Army and did a lot during that time. He's made me realize to live more and at at the same time soak all of the joy of each moment.
I loved this! Several years ago, in a thrift store, I came upon a large b/w picture of an alligator in a swamp--I knew immediately it was by Clyde Butcher and figured it had been a reduced price print (a bit overexposed) from his Florida shop, but still worth over $100. Stunning nonetheless. When a repairman came to my home to fix my phone, he saw it and fell head over heels with it---loving reptiles as he did. I gave it to him and he was as happy as anyone could be. Thank you Clyde! So glad you are still at it! Inspiring!
Thank you for what you do. Very inspiring. Most of us who call ourselves photographers would not do what you do. We say it's too cold or too hot, Ill go out tomorrow. You are incredible! Thank you again!
We love hearing that Clyde's story is inspiring! Thank you for sharing! ~Trina
I have loved your work, since the first time I laid eyes on it! This was before I actually went to The Everglades to see for myself, the beauty that is The Everglades! I spent almost 2 weeks there, and even went to visit The Big Cypress Gallery! My mentor is my son in law who uses large format equipment. He has a story of having the honor of meeting you one day in Yosemite, years ago. I have most of your books (signed) and just want to thank you for helping me to bring The Everglades to North Hollywood, California. Love you, Niki and the dedication to the environment that you north share. Peace.
Thank you for for all you kind words about my parents! I will pass this onto them

Amazing photos! As someone who has been camping in the everglades several times I wonder, how is he just sitting there without going crazy about the bugs biting his face!? Wild man

I started photography with a Linhof, made of metal, before 1965.
Why is loading a film a problem
I made B&W prints 250 x 400 cm on AGFA paper in far less than half a day.
