@@JLpiparote2 yeah I've played with the create mod before, it's pretty cool! But I mainly just play vanilla+, 90% of my mods are client-side, just a couple tweaks to gameplay features that I can't really play without, like the mod the removes the stupid xp limit on anvils

that cant be distant horizons. He is using comp and comp doesn't have the support yet, or at least public. Especially at the time of this vid/recording. Also you can see all the flowers up to the very final draw distance, this is just normal render distance.
I dont think its DH, maybe NVidium or his PC is just build different

I use one shaderpack and a 6 chunk render distance and my computer is already hotter than the sun
TBF between Sodium, Iris, Distant Horizons and the exceptional optmization of some modern shaders, it's not as bad as it used to be. I'm running a setup like this hovrering around 100fps where in previous years on Forge my PC would struggle at 30.

I always make sure to take screenshots of these kinds of spots. It’s what makes the exploration element in minecraft so essential to the experience for me.
If I found a spot like that I'd be simultaneously crazy exited and upset... Like it's so freaking cool but I feel like I could never make a home there that's awesome enough for it lol
Exactly what goes through my head too! I end up either living in a hole in the ground, a hole in the side of a cliff, or I just leave all my stuff out in the open because I definitely don’t have the effort or ideas for a landscape as beautiful as that

i actually kindof hate Terralith because finding a flat spot in a good location is sooo rare. you get like large ass savanna plains but if you find any nice spot the biggest flat ground is like 3x3 and you have to dig up obscene amount of blocks to get a decent size house.. this is why i prefer playing with just tectonic, plenty of flat space, but if you like steep mountains there are many too

Lately I always get generations like this every time I create a world, I'm starting to think they changed the programming or something.
Yeah what mod are you using to get that type of terrain? Mine looks like a 747 just crash landed in a spot and it grew back over with grass. Meanwhile you just get a biblically accurate landscape and i get spawned in the middle of the ocean with 3 blocks of grass with the nearest place being a desert and the most ugly empty patchy grass area with 1 tree every kilometre. It doesn't feel like minecraft anymore
