I’m telling you now, this boy will make an 90% recovery, he will be walking and talking within 2 years from now, my cousin was in a vegetative starte, I was told she would not walk talk etc, 2 years and she’s using internet, walking and talking, yes there are challenges but for this boys parents I’m telling you now, he is going to make a remarkable recovery. Godbless x❤

That stepdad is annoying. He wanted to be in the spotlight and tried to take over the interview. And when he wasn't running his mouth, he would stare into the camera to be noticed. I get the sense he is a narcissist.

15 min of fame for the step dad. (Probably both still traumatized) Bad interviewing by the hosts. They should have intervened and ask the mum directly. Good luck to the lad. Hoping for recovery.
The step dad should not keep saying ‘I do it myself’ about pier jumping etc. Do not encourage that behaviour when your step-son has suffered as a result of doing that.

When we were teenagers, we would try silly things because of the rebellious and carefree nature. I almost fell from a great height once because I was doing a challenge to go down a ladder from a great height…and I was 19 when so did that, lol. When I was around 15, many of my classmates would drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes secretly. There was also a drugs scandal during my secondary school years. I feel sad for this lad, because he was a healthy and functioning human being and now he has become brain damaged because of a silly challenge he set himself. I hope no other teenagers have similar mistakes. Life is precious and special, think before you do risky challenges.
Every summer young people lose their lives or are left with terrible injuries due to swimming and diving accidents. I have great sympathy for this family. I hope he recovers.
