Finally... Fucking finally... I've found 2 reactors who have not only recognized the beauty in Tom's artwork but are knowledgeable and articulate enough to describe what makes it so powerful. Flawd and Knox are the most real reactors I have come across. Flawd was actually the very first reactor I have ever watched. I just found Knox today and it took my a while to get here. Forget all that getting up out of the chair and walking off, forget all that pausing the song and just staring at the camera, screw all of that immature behavior, fuck all that superficiality. These two are providing depth which creates meaningful content. The most authentic type of individual you can find, not unlike Tom. Behold the weight the genuine article. My favorite tracks by Tom are always his transition songs. You know, the ones that lead to the next album. And you have become one of my favorite reactors because you catch bars no one else does.
Believe it or not, when the hits a ton of "O" sounds that's when he really rips me. I don't know what it is about that. "ThrOw stOnes... Your caskets full BrOke bOnes..." Maybe because it's a lower, guttural sound than the long A. IDK, but that pulls me in hard. He plays his vowels really, really well. He also pulls on humor, even in his darkest tracks. The play on words and really clever metaphors strike a memorable chord. Damn, I've been lamenting the loss of true poets in the musical world for more than a decade. It all came back in one man. I pray he encourages other artists to up their game.
I really don't think it was a shot at Crypt. I kinda like Crypt's channel, but I don't think Crypt is big enough to even take up Tom's time. Again brother, you kill it with the breakdowns, I love the way you do it. Much love man....#hangovergang
First time ever commenting on UA-cam. I love how you break the songs down so much. It’s like I am watching a great movie and you’re a TV with the best graphics displaying the scenes even better. Also appreciate your professionalism and unbiased descriptions.
Love, love, love your Tom reactions, I'm a new member of #HOG and am learning such a lot from Tom's music and your break downs of the tracks afterwards. I've never listened to Hip Hop/Rap before, I'm more of a rock chick but Tom's lyrics, personality and charisma have me totally hooked and I'm loving being down the rabbit hole. I think you have to be the best reactor ever, trust me, in only 10 days of my Tom obsession I've seen most of them! I appreciate your message at the end of this video, those of us who have suffered anxiety and depression often feel alone, so to hear your words was lovely and much appreciated. Sending you much love and respect from England.

After watching your reactions, I can’t watch other reactors. The way you breakdown the lyrics and symbolism is impressive! Don’t ever stop grinding, keep it up. much love.
Screw the haters, his comebacks are absolutely deadly. Every bar is gold, But when he puts the haters aside & starts opening up about himself, it moves to another level of excellence. ' ... I realised I'd destroyed a whole cathedral of blessings'. Wow, just Wow!. & the epic beats with Terminator type ominous sound. Any other good songs would would share the stage with these Nova videos, they are so on point. Toms messages are so sharp, they deserve nothing less. Take a bow, Nova.
Knox you are my favorite reactor. Never stop doing you! You catch so much more than the majority of reactors AND you know what you're talking about. Keep it up. Sending you lots of love!
I love this reaction! You decipher the hidden meanings behind the bars and help me understand what he is saying! You have a very unique talent and so does Tom! Second time listening to this reaction and I just subscribed! Should have done it the first time!! Keep up the good work!
Tom Macdonald just brought me back into listening to rap again. I will be buying albums from Tom. I have never heard anything like this. This is revolutionary rap. It's obviously soul charged. I understand hate from being honest, without folding up my own views to fit in to "correctness". I write a more acoustic style of music, but this has inspired me to just put out what I believe in my music without worrying that it may or may not fit into cultural correctness. Tom Macdonald, you have just saved me from selling all my music stuff, because I though i couldn't do it on my own, but the fact that you have proven independence doesn't have to slow you down as long as you are willing to put the work in. Man.....I am so thankful to Tom for this.
I'm 50 and have been into rap since the beginning, I moved away from rap for a while because to be honest...it started to suck. Now....Tom has reignited my love of rap. Thanks for the reaction!!! So damn tight

Love the breakdown of the entire song! I've watched quite a few reactions to this song and noticed so many bars that went over the reactors heads and i'm glad you caught them. keep up the good work man
Thank you very much! English is my second language so I don`t undertand every single bar when Tom goes fast, but this was a wonderful breakdown. I watch those reactions and I`m so F... impressed how deep those song are... damn. Everytime I discover something new and I`m blown away. I`m not the biggest hip hop fan... I`m just searching for some great stuff and I`m glad I`ve found this gem and your reaction.
You are a very skilled reactor. You break down lyrics with educated intelligence that no other reactors have the ability to do. Nice job. You helped me appreciate Tom's video so much more.
Knox I just stumbled onto your reaction and this is the best damn breakdown of a song I have every heard. You not only react to the song, you break down every single part of it, from beat to Tom himself. KEEP IT UP, thank you for this breakdown.
This is your best breakdown. Your ability to catch literally every bar is second to none. Keep killing it brother! See ya on the next live this coming saturday!
Knox, i really love how you break all these bars down in depth im 8 months late here but still great knowledge and catching the rhyme schemes and what not youre obviously passionate about rapping i love the breakdowns man keep it up bud!
Dude, I loved this reaction. It's the best one I've seen for this song. I not only appreciated the breakdown of the bars, but also the observations you made about the structure of the song. I hadn't consciously noticed the change of instruments happening when the flow changed because I was so focused on the lyrics, but once you pointed it out I took another listen to the song and gained an even greater respect for how complex the music-art of the song was. Great job!
I haven’t listened to rap in over 10 years and Tom brought me back into it a couple months ago when I discovered him and I’ll be honest sometimes it’s hard to understand the roasts. You did awesome breaking it down for a simpleton like me 😂. Definitely gonna check if you did his Mac lethal videos cause I listen to that shit everyday and still trying to understand all the jabs 🥊
Those last cords put Terminator in my head, the part where they show the world where the Terminators were crossing the destroyed landscape and the one Terminator foot crashes down on the human skull and crushes it. Perfect
I know this vid is a bit older but I just became a Tom MacDonald fan like with in the last 48 hours. He is amazing. I would love to see a collaboration. Cause Knox your amazing too.
I’m friggin speechless....holy hell Tom. Stepped up to the plate? He ate the whole Thanksgiving dinner! Great reaction Knoxhill. I wouldn’t of caught half of those bars
Wait...is the phrase “step up to the plate” a double entendre itself? I always understood it as a baseball reference (batter stepping up to home plate) but I can see it as someone being ready to eat everything on their plate/they’re hungry to get stuff done...Mind blown.
This. This is what makes you so different from other commentary channels... in fact, the person Tom likely was talking about, it's literally how I felt watching him. I just saw him for the first time today because he had a reaction to Tom.. He seems too surface to be able to understand Tom, literally the type of person that frustrates so many of us in all of the different ways Tom speaks on (your perspective is amazing on his lyrics)... the fact that you not only listen, but hear his message, you also break down the actual beats and the technical parts of rap (something when I like it, I know, but otherwise couldn't appreciate without hearing what you say in your reactions). Your intelligence and class shines through. With how deep you think it only makes me feel like I need to listen to your songs multiple times so I'm not missing things from you too! I'm so stoked I came across your channel. 🙂
First time viewer here. Best breakdown I have heard yet! Would love to hear you do Wax raps over EOM beat. This guy went through some rough stuff, but i always thought his rhyme schemes were insanely good
you actually missed when he did the hand clap game girls used to do lol, i remember it from back in the school yard :) somewhere around 14:00 when the bar about closets was... anyway, really love your reactions, my favs with you are about Ren and TMcD so far :)
Been watching all the reacts on Toms vids ... over a hundred this week prolly at this point.....best breakdown dude....killled it. There were a few references in this one I was not clear on even after listening to it so many times and every one is clear as day now.....subbed!
That was a really impressive reaction and breakdown mate. Kudos... sincerely. I thought I has this masterpiece nailed down, but you added even more to the mix. Cheers
So I am going to be real. If you close your eye's and listen to this song, you can feel Toms Hunger, His Stress, His Heart, His soul, and you can tell he is being real, and not BSing. Being honest is the biggest most powerful free drug right now, and Tom is giving it away like Candy on Halloween. This is why I can't stop listening to this song on REPEAT.
In an interview NF said that he wrote his songs in his closet so it could be directed to him. On the other hand though, I doubt Tom would take shots at Nate as they don’t have any beef or anything.
I'm an old man that just never saw the point of rap and hiphop, probably 'cause it lacks melody, which has always been a huge determiner of what I called music and I just never listened to much of it and the negative gangster life aspect of it was all I thought there was to it. Drugs, hos, guns, etc. Tom's apparent mission to buck that trend has opened me up to a new venue. I was always attracted to songs with lyrics that had meaning and interpreting them was part of the fun, but it was usually in folk, country and blues. Didn't know that rap used those tools as well. To be honest, Tom's political position is what first attracted me. He seems to be able to say a lot of the things that your average white guy can't these days, so I sort of view him as a voice for men of my ilk. Although that is how I got here, now that I'm here I find myself wanting to delve deeper into the genre. A large part of that is due to your breakdown of his songs. I have probably listened to 25 reactions to this song, for instance, and you are the only one that really gave me some head scratching moments where I asked myself, " How did I miss that little play on words?" or, " Okay, I think he's right, that WAS symbolic of ....." So, in short, great job, don't worry about all the pauses ( you actually have something meaningful to say during them ) and you have a new fan and student of the music.
This is one of my favorite Tom Macdonald reactions ever! Because of you! YOU BREAK IT DOWN! Love that this song affected you like it does me. You're the best, Professor Knox ❤🧠! ✌️🖤

Yes!! He is a poet too!!
Hip Hop was born out of necessity to spread messages to inner city youth. This is the true spirit of the art.

He also pulls on humor, even in his darkest tracks. The play on words and really clever metaphors strike a memorable chord.
Damn, I've been lamenting the loss of true poets in the musical world for more than a decade. It all came back in one man. I pray he encourages other artists to up their game.
Pretty sure talking about buying someone's house is a pillar to the fact crypt lives in his parents basement and will be vacant after he buys it.
I really don't think it was a shot at Crypt. I kinda like Crypt's channel, but I don't think Crypt is big enough to even take up Tom's time. Again brother, you kill it with the breakdowns, I love the way you do it. Much love man....#hangovergang
This dude can dissect a video like no other.
First time ever commenting on UA-cam. I love how you break the songs down so much. It’s like I am watching a great movie and you’re a TV with the best graphics displaying the scenes even better. Also appreciate your professionalism and unbiased descriptions.
Glad to see you back reacting to Tom. This man is a prodigy with his lyricism.
Dude... white boy exists
callum_whufc I’m not denying that. I just enjoy tom’s music.
@@callumdawsonwhufc So?
@@callumdawsonwhufc while I didn't like the song for the way it was sung. The song had alot of truths in it
Love, love, love your Tom reactions, I'm a new member of #HOG and am learning such a lot from Tom's music and your break downs of the tracks afterwards.
50 cent, patiently waiting, 2nd song get rich..
I messaged you on Instagram to react to this, so glad you did.. love the detail of your reactions.
Your a brilliant artist keep working hard.
This is my new fav Tom song 🔥
Yessir bro. Saw it on there 🙌 Keep em coming
Can we get a break down for the young people. This was another good one.
one of my all time favorites.
After watching your reactions, I can’t watch other reactors. The way you breakdown the lyrics and symbolism is impressive! Don’t ever stop grinding, keep it up. much love.
You should react to Stressed Out by Knox Hill it’s a great song
@@quexuar did you just respond to your own comment

I know right, it's great. I don't know why he doesn't react to it.
Honestly it would be a cool series. Him breaking down his own song like he does others.
Your best reaction to date. Awesome, you killed it. Tom and you both killed it.
I've seen some great reactions to Tom, but never a better intellectual breakdown. It takes IQ to notice that stuff, and it took massive IQ to make it.
I've seen this breakdown 10+ times and it never gets old. Easily my favorite bar breakdown channel. Period 🖤
I've heard this song a thousand times. You caught some things that I missed. Well done. Appreciate the insight!
I'm 50 and have been into rap since the beginning, I moved away from rap for a while because to be honest...it started to suck. Now....Tom has reignited my love of rap. Thanks for the reaction!!! So damn tight
Without a doubt one of the best reactions to any song I’ve heard. Outstanding breakdown. Opened my eyes to so many things I hadn’t heard. So good Bro. 🤜🏼🤛🏼🔥
Your lyrical breakdowns and explanations are the main reason I watch your reactions. Keep them coming
Sucks to be the ones that don't truly understand legit satire 💯

back to re-watch cuz I'm missing Knox breaking down Tom's music! still hoping for a reaction to You Missed!!!
All right, you got more bars than anybody and trust me I've watched a lot! This reaction alone was worth a subscribe! Well done and nice video! Really impressed with how much you caught
Maaaan I'm two weeks late but gooooooooddddddamnnn this is one of the best reaction I've seen💯 pureee 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
50 Cent "Patiently Waiting" love that song
You win! I was way to late to watch this lol.
I loveeeeee your breakdowns and the way you take your time to hit everything that's going on I found the reaction channel I have always needed new sub ❤❤
Tom Macdonald is the shit he spits truth , love Tom Macdonald Spitten from his Closet
Love the breakdown of the entire song! I've watched quite a few reactions to this song and noticed so many bars that went over the reactors heads and i'm glad you caught them. keep up the good work man
I LOVE how "You breakdown Tom MacDonald! "HE TRULY sneaks So many lines in there!
I Appreciate how you can feel it too 💯💥💯❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much!
First time watching the video! That quote is 50 cent many men wish death on me! Dope song! And dope reaction man!
Love listening to your breakdowns, as they help me catch the double meanings that I would otherwise miss.
Thanks!
Great job!
"Death Threats" and "Ghost Stories" are Tom's last 2 albums. So we can assume that "Gravestones" is soon to come. Great reaction/breakdown homie.
I’m back again for the umptheenth time!! I just love your breakdowns!! 💕
Thanks!! Your love & support goes a long way 🖤
I haven’t listened to rap in over 10 years and Tom brought me back into it a couple months ago when I discovered him and I’ll be honest sometimes it’s hard to understand the roasts.
Such a complete and total breakdown. I've heard this song so many times and you caught things I hadn't picked up.
Such an excellent breakdown and reaction to a track and artist that definitely deserves it..much respect bro, keep doin your thing
Isn’t POV “point of view” as well!? Love how you break down everything! Great videos! 👌🏻
It’s definitely a double....I think of it both ways but this time? He was hangry!
@@budgoblue6625 Better bars than Crypt.
These breakdowns you provide are just as enjoyable as watching the originals from Tom!
Death threats where ghost stories what’s next gonna be painful “gravestones” 1st album 2nd album and 3rd new one? Lol 🔥🔥🔥
Didn't buy either of the last two based upon some REAL reviews by Fantano and CDTV productions.
"Hitting a Woman" Why don't Tom put that on UA-cam? Lmao
@@AaronWoodardExperience did you listen to it? lol
Another great reaction from one of the greatest reactors out there!!
Appreciate you ✊🙌
I'm a HOG and this is the first video ive watched from you and dude shit is good. You actually appreciate his art.
He is 100% the best at understanding and interpreting rap. Never seen anyone do better than him
I'm not a huge fan of Tom's sound personally but lyrically he's one of the best in my opinion!! Adam Calhoun has dissed him also.
was it on a song or on his instagram?
Been watching all the reacts on Toms vids ... over a hundred this week prolly at this point.....best breakdown dude....killled it. There were a few references in this one I was not clear on even after listening to it so many times and every one is clear as day now.....subbed!
LOVE HOW YOU DISSECT TOMS BARS OF TRUTH...KEEP ON KEEPING ON ..!!!
Dude your reaction is so much better than any other, you caught every single bar! I don't care how long it was, it was worth it! Awesome job bro!

That was a really impressive reaction and breakdown mate.
Kudos... sincerely.
I thought I has this masterpiece nailed down, but you added even more to the mix.
Cheers
Aaaaaand this is when I sub to you and became a fan. Lol you got the ears bro
Here I am again watching this lol everytime a reaction to this pops up I have to come back and rewatch this so I see it appreciated properly
Homie! I'm here for how far you break these songs down!! I'll be binging your reactions
In an interview NF said that he wrote his songs in his closet so it could be directed to him. On the other hand though, I doubt Tom would take shots at Nate as they don’t have any beef or anything.
He’s called him great in a rap before so I doubt it but 🤷🏻♀️
I thought it was directed towards Futuristic, because alot of his videos are in his closet with his phone but I don't think they have beef either
I've no kidding watch hundreds of Tom reaction videos and you have by far the best reactions I've seen. BY far the most technical. Keep it up bro
Hey man just discovered your channel and I am blown away by it. Your reactions are genuine and your breakdown of bars truly show your talent and expertise. I would really really like you to watch I'm sorry by Joyner Lucas because its extremely powerful and hits close to home. Much love from Turkey!
When he referenced Nemo it was a shot at Mac. He was with Ellen who played Dori in finding Nemo.
