Little tips to eating a hot curry. Start with the meat and scrape the sauce of.this will numb your mouth from the slight heat that left on the meat. Then mix the sauce in the rice until no white rice left. Then start shovelling it in and swallow strait away as don’t need to chew the rice/sauce.
Yeah and there's 50+ shite curry houses on it an a couple of half decent ones. Visit "The Nest bar and dining" Wembley way for the best Indian food in England

Yes its hot, but once you get used to them, you discover the flavours inside are much better than cheaper vindaloo or madrass. If you get a cold - eat a phall it will break the cold in a matter of hours. Also be careful where you buy them, some people just chop up a scotch bonnet which will shred your insides and give you BAAAAD gas lol.
Phal is lightweight, I tried those death nuts and I shook more than shaking Stevens, cried , puked and nearly attacked those around me in fear and then poured 2 litres of milk over my head and dribbled a lot 😂
Restaurant phaal is too much for me to try. I eat Madras & Vindaloo ok. Friends bought me a Pataks Phaal sauce that is taunting me to try. It is rated at 5 chilli's where the above are 3 chilli's. My wife will not help so I am on my own. Getting it done soon !
I had a friend at med school who would wash his mouth with lidocaine solution before doing chilli challenges. His mouth would be numb and he wouldn’t feel the heat. I didn’t like that he cheated so before one big challenge, I replaced the bottle’s contents with ethanol and pure capsaicin extract. Needless to say - he didn’t win. He didn’t even take part.
I live in Birmingham (home of the phaal) and my experience is that you will suffer the most if you drink too much with it at the time... because it’s not the fabled ring of fire you have to worry about... your poor Johnson takes the brunt of it
40 years ago I decided to go for a lobster vindaloo, it was so hot the delicate flavor of the lobster was lost. I’ve now come to the conclusion that people who attempt to eat these dishes are doing it for a bet or publicity. There’s no pleasure from eating a meal that makes you feel ill. There’s no taste as the heat from the dish eliminates that. Please believe me, it’s not fun.
