Passed my test on Saturday with 3 minors at the age of 56yrs!! your videos have been a massive help what I have learnt is that you are never too young or old to absorb information and apply the skills, Hannah you can do this 💯👍🏾👍🏾
@@laurapavely7839 Thank you 😊 What I can say that really helped me is to focus on the basics of MIRRORS to show your understanding of a changing environment and OBSERVATIONS from the beginning this gave me a lot of confidence as I moved further into the test. 15:20 Many drivers find it difficult to select reverse gear during a manoeuvre. The temptation is to use a bit of strength and force the lever into the reverse gear slot. This is not a good idea, all you need to do is select neutral, clutch up clutch down and then gently try to select reverse. Alternatively some cars you can keep the clutch down and select first again then reverse. I think the problem is caused by large coarse gear teeth not quite aligning and if your car is particularly prone to the problem practice this type of procedure.
I have to say i was impressed with her driving 🚘 so excited for my 3rd lesson coming next Monday, 38 years old and my neurologist as finally gave me the go ahead to learn to drive after brain surgery 🧠 for epilepsy i developed aged 23 years old. Can't wait. Fantastic videos 👍
She demonstrated really good clutch control and had good observation in general (minus the mirror check faults she picked up) . She'll pass her real test with flying colours!

Nice drive, Hannah, you’re gonna smash it tomorrow. I passed first time on the weekend and the thing I was afraid of getting marked on was my mirrors as well but for when setting off at traffic lights. So I’d suggest in your ride around before your test have a commentary ride, narrate everything to yourself out loud so you don’t miss anything. When coming up to something you have to overtake, say it out loud so you remember to check the mirrors approaching it and once overtaken. Best of luck!
That’s exactly what. I commentated on my every move, every gear change and it completely improved my driving and awareness. Passed when I really thought I’d fail. This was last week.
