I asked some you while back if you could provide some driver videos on night driving as this type of skill driving is seriously lacking on UA-cam. I feel like the reason I failed my test for hitting the kerb was because my speed was too high and as soon as the examiner said pull up on the left, I felt compelled to listen to instruction and pull up but I should have reduced my speed to like 10 and then found somewhere to park but not rush and park immediately after the instruction had been given
Yes there is no need to rush… find a suitable spot. It’s tough when you’re in the moment but next time just breathe and then know that it’s just about safety!
He has no issue with basic skills but needs to brush up his other skills, in order to pass his test..😅 I have noticed that UK driving test requires high standard to pass.
How can you tell he is not checking centre mirror? He is wearing sunglasses. You don’t really have to move your head to check your centre mirror. I just move my eyes not my head.
During your driving test, you should make your examiner to believe that you are looking at your mirrors, otherwise it might lead to failure as you can't say that you have rolled your eyes...😅
Please can i ask how would you deal with a slow moving vehicle at a crossroad? I ask because i failed my test for this but i still dont understand my examiners explanation.
I’m sorry to hear you failed BUT you’ll get it next time! It’s hard to answer that one without more context. Light controlled? Major to minor road? Following the road ahead? Need a bit more to help 😊
It was unmarked i think. I'm sorry I can't remember if it major to minor. I was going straight ahead and the slow moving vehicle was turning right. I gave way to let them go first and didn't move till they went but my examiner said that I should have gone first and let them wait because they are slow and conditions of the road could change by me waiting for them
@@Sara-vs1ww ah so it was your priority. You can at times give way but you should understand if you have priority or not. Also understand the adverse effects of giving way of it’s not appropriate. It comes down to judgement and you should not give way if you could impact vehicles behind. The best course of action is to come of the gas to make sure the slow moving vehicle is going to wait and when you have confirmation (they are not pushing forwards) you proceed. I hope that helps!

He's a very good driver. The few things to tidy up like mirrors could be done easily. I hope he passed his test.

Harder to see with sunglasses but if you watch him repeatedly and closely you can see it. It’s just part of the job.
