Based on 14 years of selling mattresses, some info is good, some doesn't match up with what i've seen over the years. The biggest is IF we end up doing a comfort exchange, over the last 14 years 99% of people end up exchanging to go softer. Basically meaning they attempt to go TOO firm to start. I also have to disagree with adding a topper. Toppers are very inexpensive band-aids. Most of the foam used in toppers are way lower quality that any reputable mattress company would ever put in their mattresses. Most have a 1 year warranty, because they aren't designed to last that long. Band-aid til you get your new mattress. Best advice I can give is to go into a family owned business that has trained sleep experts that will assist you, and make sure they have a no risk exchange. I do 100% agree with this guy about letting your body tell you what you need. Ignore the hype, for the most part even the reviews, because no 2 people are the same. Sleep well!!!
Thanks for this great info! I spent months researching all of the brands, prices etc but I ended up buying one that even with a topper i still hurt. I fell like I will never be able to find the perfect bed because I need about a week to try it out. Everyone actually does but doing a 30 day trial is so stressful but still great.
Thank you for the information, I never would've thought to give my body 21 days to adjust to a new mattress 🤦♀️🤦♀️. And not to pay full price for a mattress.
