I was only a child in the 2000's but man seeing the clothes that you older girls wore takes me back! I too am obsessed with the 2000's and I'm glad that they're back in style! I actually bought a juicy couture tracksuit last year and I LOVE it! I love all your shorts and videos btw!

So fun revisiting these styles, not all from my past (I’m sixty-five), but mostly from my daughter’s! We’re also midwesterners, so North Face and Uggs were what we all wore, no matter the age.

Haha Birkenstocks were my very first independent fashion choice ever. I grew up Evangelical so fashion did not exist for me until high school. Also I was homeschooled so I missed all of these things. But I got to take some group courses in high school and noticed how comfy Birkenstocks were and that was my one concession to trend. 😂
My favorite smell was twilight woods back in ‘08-‘09. I always went to school with the girls who wore Uggs w/absolutely everything especially after dance class in the summer for extra foot comfort lol

I think you mentioned Sun-In in this video. I did some research and found out why so many people may have had problems with it turning their hair orange. It's supposed to be applied to damp hair, brushed or combed through, and hit with a hair dryer and round brush (optional) (sun works too of course). I have something that pre-dates the Victoria Secret's Love Spell craze. When I was in middle school (1996/1997) girls were going insane over anything vanilla flavored. Bath and Body Works was the go-to store. When you would walk into any classroom that had girls in it, you would get hit with this wall of vanilla scent. And it was STRONG. I had male teachers who had to ask the girls to not spray it in class. Other students were almost gagging the scent was that strong. Don't even get me started on what the locker room was like after gym class. You could almost see a cloud of it around the girls coming out of the locker room to go to their next class.
I totally still wear Love Spell on days that I don’t want to wear my expensive perfume (like going to grocery store or in-laws for a quick dinner). It is ingrained in me though from the early 2000s that I have to wear something when leaving the house.
I also graduated HS in 2009 😊 I now have a teenager (my oldest daughter) and Nike pros are the new soffe shorts! 😄 I still have my Uggs also and gave them to my daughter and she was like I don’t want these I want ugg minis 😂 I also used to wear my Uggs and a Jean skirt and I was from LA and EVERY SINGLE girl would wear Uggs and a denim mini skirt lol I totally remember love spell now my teen daughter and her friends are into the Brazilian crush cheirosa 68 perfume mist if that’s what it’s called and she also likes touchland hand sanitizer 😄

Also, I remember the Old Navy fleece pull over being a pretty sought after item. I tried to get one around Christmas one year, and they were all sold out.
Oh my lord.. 2006 😊 I am now Raquelle from Barbie as a human today. ❤ my traumatic childhood years were from 2000-2012 😊 In 2023 I also made it as the first Asian American young woman to be on a billboard in Times Square! I glowed TF UP 😂❤😅
