Raised another child who learned CPR even though she was not able to use it. But was still brave enough to drag the teacher to safety.

As a lifelong Barrow County resident, the hardest thing about this is most kids here have known each other throughout their entire K-12 experience. When I initially heard about the shooting I couldn't process someone shooting up a school full of kids they've known their whole lives. Now, knowing the shooter was someone who isn't from here and decided to bring so much pain and trauma to the entire community after spending less than a full day in the school makes me incredibly angry.
