Just watched the movie out of curiosity on an United plane from LAX to IAH, very glad I did, I’m already past the days of dreaming, still envy the ones that still can 😊
It's amazing how she waited all this time for him. And with the same phone with his messages to her still there. Don't really know anyone who would of waited that long. Truly amazing.
She didn't wait for him though, she fully expected that he'd be gone for good. She was pretty much mourning him this whole time, he was a good friend to her during a very isolated point in her life after all. Hence why she was surprised to see the messages on the phone after so many years
@@RGRothy1maybe not that soon, but yeah. It's unrealistic to expect anyone to wait for you that long though, especially if they're under the assumption that you're gone for good. It's unfair to make them/want them to hold themselves back from getting their fulfillment and having new, happy experiences in life if that's what would make them happier (and help them heal in the case that they lost you). It really just depends on what people personally want and what makes them happy.
The only problem I see from this is how do you find a job when your resume is filled with a 13 year gap, where would you even live if the home you once lived in has been occupied by someone else.
@@Meeeee1126yeah cause in the tunnel you don't age the time just slow down you don't come out of the tunnel getting old but instead you don't age so basically it's like a time travel machine. You can go to the future.
He cannot tamper with the original work too much, because if he gains something, he will lose it. Even so, the original work is better. He expressed his desire to take his sister out and live together with him, but her sister rejected him. This was the second choice he subconsciously made between his real lover and his past relatives.
Tbh, I would go into the tunnel if there is one.
Same
My dum ahhh would stay in because it would hold my favorite bed.(very sentimental)
What would you look for?
Yeah you hardly age there and imagine your friends are at 30s and you are still teen or 20 years old. Its so unfair lol
@@smol1211looking for gold 😂

Yeah most likely your ex girlfriend or boyfriend wouldn't wait for longer than 2 days lol

6:23. Is it a coincidence that UA-cam recommends me this video precisely today, August 2nd, 2023...???
It was a sign for you to watch it.
In the film August 2nd is the day Karen died but in the manga it's a different story

Well explained 🥰🫶
It was lovely
this made me tearing
Bro I'm almost crying😭😭😭😭😭
How did he disappear for 13 years and she still looks the same age
While in the tunnel, time is slower. He wouldn't have aged as much.
@@adeho789 I’m talking about the girl she looks the same after 13 years 😭
Wait...how much older is she then..? Edit: I had to look and basically she's 22. I'm 23 and I do still look the same...Asian genes I guess haha

So in the end, she became a cougar. 😂
Okay, I have checked the actual manga. Tono is 17 and Hanashiro is 22. Not as big as a gap I thought.
