  • In the beginning when man first started to launch projectiles they immediately looked for ways to carry their spare ammunition on their bodies. The animal skin pouch carried rocks, quiver for arrows, and leather satchel for lead balls are all examples of this throughout history. The High Speed Gear Industries (HSGI) “Polymer Tacos” and the G-code “Scorpion Soft Shell” are two modern options that satisfy this need to carry spare projectiles in today’s modern era.

    Love the g-code on my entry kit. Rifle pouch is versatile and can hold pistol w/light, taser or bang if needed in a pinch.

    I use the G-Code for my speed reload pouch. Never used the HSGI but they are very similar. Got the G-Code just cause it looked cooler.

    Polymer tacos have great retention on AK mags, work better than the soft shell tacos by hsgi they reindex well for AK mags, might invest in some gcodes too to test out and evaluate. I ordered esstac kywiis for my Glock mags, what's sad as fuck is soft shell hsgi tacos is they're more expensive than the polymer hsgi taco pouches

    so im trying to decide between g codes and the hsgi soft tacos, getting one set for a plate carrier and another for a stealth kit for magfed paintball, any body got some input on which way I should lean?

      availability and multicam options, TACO wins. But for retention and durability, I would go with the Gcode. Also, watch the AKOU video about the TACOs with AK mags, it may be an issue for some. Gcode will not have that issue.

      @@88kar88 I made a gallery highlighting the problem and fixing the problem with the standard Taco's. imgur.com/gallery/mJwMQwf Note that polymer tacos will have NO problem with this, as they have the pop-top design.

      G code hands down. HSGI tacos kind of suck for anything dynamic. They are good enough on the flat range but any kind of running and gunning even somewhat hard go with g code scorpions if you need an open top. Otherwise velcro prolly your best option

    Ben what's the deal on the right saying to call a magazine! a magazine? our clips. some good old older veterans told me not say magazine? what's the deal.

    • @MrKreationsHD
      @MrKreationsHD 5 років тому +1

      A clip is something you use to load an older style rifle like an SKS. A magazine is used in most modern day rifles = AR15, AR10, AK47, CZ805 Bren and so on.
