And my favorite episodes, a few times more than that! Seeing this “beat-down” sequence, I can’t help but reflect upon what actual damage a bionic man could REALLY do to “normal” assailants. By design, the show (aimed at a family-friendly market) “nerfed” bionic power to a considerable degree. I’d opine that bionic punches and kicks could easily disembowel and even decapitate an opponent. Also, the power Six-Mil could project by running or jumping could easily destroy a human being. Or an automobile. In my “head canon” for the show, Col. Austin held back so as not to kill the bad guys. Lee Majors did a great job bringing the character to life.

If u read the original book cyborg by martin caidin you will learn that his non bionic parts were also badly damaged and were greatly strengthened. Examples titanium reinforcement in his spine and ribs , metal reinforcement of his head and his non bionic arm has metal parts especially wrist area so he can break the handcuffs.
A lot of people like to point out scientific impracticabilities in the show, nitpicking it all instead of just enjoying the awesomeness of it, the style, the swag of it all... And your editing and music made it quite enjoyable, might I add. I can say as a kid, I like to pretend that the bionics in his body were not pure mechanics, but a result of some unique technology that used biological energy in a enhanced fashion. Hence why they didn't need batteries or recharging. And it had effect on the rest of his body, making it more durable, fast as stronger (albeit not as much as is bionics) as well as it effecting the kinetic energy and force he used... Explaining how a dang football 🏈 could shatter a rifle buttstock and so forth.
You FOOL! This show - like many movies of the past and present - was put on to prepare people for The New World Order future of human kind being melded with technology i.e. Star Trek's blue tooth devices that Spok and Uhura would wear; the communicator as cell phone; The Next Generations Borg; etc.
Hmmm you should study the modern American anthropology like you would study any tribe (the American ethos, values, constitution, the immense history of each of the 50 states, myths, false creeds or false expectations, the Hollywood landscape and themes and finally their broadcast TV...) Since the end of 30s the American pop culture together with a certain degree of scientific knowledge has believed in the usage of mini nuclear batteries in all type of gadgets and machines everywhere. It is clear even to a Brazilian boy that Steve Austin would be using nuclear batteries to power his legs and his arm. Brazil.
Forgot to mention that it was Lee Majors that made it work. I don’t think anyone else could have been so likable as Steve. He played the role with the right amount of humor and toughness. He made you believe they picked Steve because he would know how to handle the Incredible power they gave him. I watched all the episodes as a kid and do now as an adult. If I’m not mistaken, they trusted Steve so much with the power that they never bothered building a “Fail Safe” device to stop him if he went rouge. At least I don’t remember them talking about one.
I agree totally. FR. He also made me believe he was a dang good Hollywood stuntman AND bounty hunter in the same show,…”The Fall Guy” a couple years after this show. The timing was perfect too, I was young enough to believe in this show all the way, and then they popped out Fall Guy about the time I was starting puberty and trying to be a tough guy myself. Def made a positive impression on my growing up right.

Being bionic does have it's advantages, I must say....
after watching this mash up for three months straight, I finally got a raise.
I love all the over the top, exaggerated, slow-mo, goofy sound effects!
As Oscar Goldman would say....."Thanks pal"
You FOOL! This show - like many movies of the past and present - was put on to prepare people for The New World Order future of human kind being melded with technology i.e. Star Trek's blue tooth devices that Spok and Uhura would wear; the communicator as cell phone; The Next Generations Borg; etc.
Great program, give me and my friends hours of pleasure in the 70s

Iron mixed with clay.
Hmmm you should study the modern American anthropology like you would study any tribe (the American ethos, values, constitution, the immense history of each of the 50 states, myths, false creeds or false expectations, the Hollywood landscape and themes and finally their broadcast TV...)
Since the end of 30s the American pop culture together with a certain degree of scientific knowledge has believed in the usage of mini nuclear batteries in all type of gadgets and machines everywhere. It is clear even to a Brazilian boy that Steve Austin would be using nuclear batteries to power his legs and his arm.
Brazil.
Thank You for the unbridled spontaneous laughter... Truly classic comedy 😁🤟
Those were simpler times. There was no need to build a failsafe. It was also for kids. We couldn't even conceive he'd turn evil.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 you are 110% right as kids there's no way we ever thought that Steve Austin was going to turn evil he was going to be good in our eyes a hero forever
and yeah those were Central times I don't care what anybody says about we just thought it was that way it was simpler times we had good and bad but still remember watching it on my familys 19-inch black and white TV set in the kitchen a philco if I'm not mistaken which lasted probably almost 20 years
also remember watching shows like twilight zone and thriller with Boris Karloff and scary movies and always freaking out thinking someone was coming up my back porch which actually led to the kitchen the neighborhood was so much more rural back then I'd see monsters everywhere but it was so cool being scared out of my mind and pee in my pants
One of the dopest long form videos on UA-cam. Kudos
This is absolutely epic!! The music doesn't distract and the added sound effects were great! Thanks for posting!
Did I see Dean Wormer in there? Lt. Harrelson? The Rifleman?? This is the funniest thing I've seen this year. How do I know for sure? It's about 5:30am, and my wife is trying to strangle me because I woke her up screaming with laughter. Yep, that'll do it!
I think I hurt myself... 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Best part of The Six Million Dollar Man was his leisure suit wardrobe. Respect.
100 m sprinters need to adopt his built for speed wardrobe
The sound effects are killing me. This is awesome!
DAMN! At 04:01 The Six Million Dollar man playing Eddie Van Halen's Eruption on an acoustic guitar, and it still sounds electric!
I just found this thanks so much friend. Takes me back way back. Awesome!!
i was 6 when this show came out. hilarious now but i still enjoy it. seeing those basketball, bowling and football scenes with no other than creed made me laugh so hard
I tried to drive a nail into wood like I saw Steve do. The nail was pointy side up. I drove my hand down onto it - it went right into the hand.
Heck imagine that. I was seven years old when this show first aired...😂🤣😆😅
Right at the beginning of the video Steve's posture was so cool. He had that stance "like, wha cha wanna do"
Non mi sono mai perso una puntata da bambino, spettacolo, che bellissimi ricordi
Bigfoot Creature: "I'm gonna get you for SNATCHIN' my good arm!". He snatches it from Steve and runs away crying. 😏😈
The show got so much better when they added the Bionic sound effects. My favourite action series from my childhood. Recently bought every episode and the Bionic Woman collection on DVD which includes the three movies. Some good Bionic times :)
U wasted money on a show that was losing its popularity.
When the dude hero grew a moustache and started wearing human feces color leather jackets on the show, it was going downhill...
Dude do-gooders wearing human feces color leather jackets ain't gonna attract viewers cuz they ain't bad ass, ain't cool, ain't chick magnets, ain't real men, and ain't popular dudes.
Real men only wears BLACK LEATHERS. It makes a dude popular, bad ass cool and attracts chicks.
@@chrisblack7226 you crazy man you think 10-year-old kids thought about that we just thought about the freaking bionics and then putting his hand thru a wall or running fast as a car
@@jimmorrison6421 really man? U think about them superhero powers shit? Them x-ray eyes and shit. So much bullshit...
The sound effect ''Shwingawingawingawing!! '' is iconic!
I LOVE the sound bites. HILARIOUS!!
I was 7 or 8 years old watching the $6 million man on TV. I wanted to be bionic so bad, I could taste it!
How to be a six million dollar man:
Slow motion move
This was great with the background music & the sound effects add in 😂😅🤣😅😅😂...
Spectacular! Only a true fan of this show could have put this together. Great Job!
The true fans are the commentators, they are intelligent as well as good looking
@@the6dollarham Why'd he start growing a moustache later in the series? Why not a goatee? And that ugly human feces color leather jacket of his! U-G-L-Y!
From ur clip here, he used 2 wear a fucking awesomectacular men's black leather jacket and black leather boots! What happened to that style???
@@chrisblack7226 Yeah, the stache was bad, and those frumpy sweaters were worse.
@@the6dollarham Don't forget in season 4, he wore them ugly human feces color leather jackets... ugh! So gross!
@@the6dollarham Do u have that full episode of him wearing that black leather jacket? The one with him using the fire extinguisher to spray the bad guy ... I have not seen that one on UA-cam...
Hilarious and well done. If it were remade today it would be the Six Billiion Dollar Man.
Born in 1965, the Bionic man, Incredible Hulk, and Wonderwoman. It doesn't get better than this.
Maybe the best thing I have seen this year and I just watched the KC Chiefs just win the Superbowl.
Well done, great work on this 6 mill montage, I saw every episode and this brings it all back, and then some, great overlay sound effects!
I watched this show when I was a kid. I enjoyed it. You do have to suspend disbelief but you still have to that with any action show today. The stunt men sure earned their money on this show.
Literally LMAO for 21 straight minutes...very well done!
I always come back to this video cause its so damn good and hilarious 😂
It's crazy how many great shows came out before I was born ('87 here). Love the 70s/80s charm this show had. Lee Majors sacrificed his physical health for our entertainment and we appreciate him for it!
9:33 Btw, what sound did this come from? It's still grating me lol
What the hell man,. this MUST be ALL of the Six Million Dollar Man greatest hits ,... Literally.
Feeling this LOL...Steve Kicking Ass with Flavor. The special Effects and Sounds are madd funny, and cool. Respect. This was one of my all time favorite Shows when I was a Kid.
Oh I just loved watching this...so many memories of the good old days. Every time Steve hit somebody I was saying ' take that bitch!'
It,s wild Steve,Wild!! Lol.
Watching "The Six Million Dollar Man" and Bellbottoms was so much fun. I can see Colt Hauser as "The Six Million Dollar Man."
"Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better...stronger...faster."
Steve Austin. Astronaut. A man barely alive.
Grew up with The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman..Loved both series..
He did many of his own stunts as well. A screen legend.
hell yeah Lee majors was awesome man that's why he's a bit messed up today from doing all his own stunts back then his body a little messed up
@@jimmorrison6421 his knees in particular.
@@1515cci yeah bro definitely his knees to mostly in particular it's a real shame he was great to a kid like me and many others across the country he was like a real superhero he was like Superman to us
@@jimmorrison6421 I remember going nuts when I finally got to see the very first episode where Steve crashes and gets his bionic parts.
True, like the flight crash at the intro: A Tom Cruise, before Tom Cruise
The Six Million Dollar Man would be a good series to watch I remember them bring the series up and play them!!!!!!!
Great video! Enjoyed watching Steve's exploits, and watching Barney manhandle Steve.
I like to call the mustache version Glebe Saustin: Ultimate Man of Science and Seduction.
Never in a million years was I prepared to laugh that hard today
WWE needs to introduce a pro wrestling version of the Six Million Dollar Man. They should call him the 9 million dollar man -- because of inflation, you know?
It would be like 60 Billion now. Let's do it!
This show is available all seasons and episodes on Peacock without any editing
THAT WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS!!!I love the six million dollar man series and it was great for it's time but making a parody like that i was laughing so hard i almost farted!
They pretty much did the farting for you! And a lot less smelly!
The 7 million dollar man couldn't handle the jandal lol.
John Saxon's face coming off gave me the Willie's when I was a kid lol
Love Lee majors
17:54 The Sinistar video game edits are GOLD! "RUN COWARD!!"
So nice to see Andre the giant and john saxon and George Forman
Tjat wasn't Andre the Giant as the Bionic Bigfoot. That was Ted Cassidy, best known as, "Lurch" of "The Addams Family "
