    Just wait till the end of Summer when inventory explodes and so do the lay offs.

      What did you see to make you believe that? Genuinely curious as I'm sure most people are.

    too many new communities being built. Look at babcock ranch for example...a 600,000 house will cost in fees and taxes and insurance around 20,000 a year. some builders are also charging 70 to 80 a month for food min. this is nuts

    I think he forgot to talk about homeowners insurance. I wonder why? Oh, maybe he needs to sell homes?

      Insurance cost, along with all other cost are part of the cost equation. Cost plays a part in the demand that we mentioned in video. We've covered Insurance in previous videos and will continue too. Cheers.

      The same reason why RE agents talk about low priced condos but fail to talk about the monthly HOA fees and assessments . Be wary about Florida RE agents. It is a low bar to obtain a RE license there. It's a MAGA red state, NO regulations for corporations and laws to put down the little people. Floridians voted for it time and time again - Enjoy!

      I think you're referring to the pic on the relocation guide. I'm not sure where I got that pic. Cayo Costa on good days looks similar. That is just a default picture I put there. I'm changing the cover of the relocation guide as we speak. Thank you for watching!

    Florida prices are way overpriced. I see homes sitting on the market for 100 days. Time to drop price.

    Do the math, taxes and insurance doesn’t make sense. I would have already bought a vacation home around 250-300 but it doesnt makes sense with the uncertainties of taxes and insurance cost. I was just gonna buy and rent out for a few years until i decide to move. Im only 36 so i have some time. A lot of people waiting, at least i see in comment sections of similar videos. Be interested to see where it goes. The locals are getting ->o

      This true in some, maybe even a lot of scenarios. There are also a lot of scenarios where this isn't true. For instance we're selling newer construction homes right now in the no flood zone. So no flood insurance and homeowners is a lot less because of the home meeting all the current codes. As for taxes, yes they are a burden. I agree. However, they are not much more than they are anywhere else in the country. As of right now our taxes are par for the course. At least we do have exemptions for certain things, like the homestead exemption. Thanks for watching!

    Do you think Tampa bay will go down in price after the crash? I wanna move to saint petersburg in 3 to 4 years as a cybersecurity analyst.

      Tampa prices are softening as well. Tampa has more industry so that equals more population. Thanks for watching!

      Moving to St. Petersburg? Take my advise, shop in Allendale as it is not in a flood zone, I think that elevation is just over 40 feet above sea level. At least the house I grew up in and one street away, some of the houses on a hill were true split levels.

    People don't want to deal with high insurance costs, blue green algae, and red tide every year. Dogs die from the toxic algae. It's gonna be bad this year after all the discharges of polluted water down the Caloosahatchee river. The estuary is doomed.

    • @livinginfl
      @livinginfl  5 місяців тому

      Captains for Clean Water as well as some other groups and our Governor have been making some changes to help with the discharges. So far this year the water has been looking good. Still need to send all the water south like it did originally. Insurance Costs should also come down with more competition, more insurance companies entering the market. That will take a little time to happen. So no algae so far. Fingers crossed. Thanks for watching!

    • @Bradimoose

      @@livinginflthat’s very optimistic. The army corp released billions of gallons of water for months. There’s algae blooms in the news already. Captains is doing a great job but the solutions are a decade away at best. Big sugar is currently suing to stop the projects. I work in insurance and I don’t see it improving anytime soon.

    • @livinginfl
      @livinginfl  5 місяців тому

      I do try to be optimistic and realistic at the same time! lol. I've been reading the FWC reports and they haven't reported any algae in what I read. I'll keep a eye on it. Let's hope Big Sugar doesn't get their way. Thanks again Bradimoose!

    People realize the storm potential now then ever before. You have a Governor who does not believe in science and who ignores the people of this state. Difficulty in getting insurance and or the cost. Now, the 3rd most populated state = far too many people and far too few resources. It is not the Florida of 1972 I can assure you. Landlords are probably cutting their losses. It will eventually even out.

    • @livinginfl

      Why is it the 3rd most populated state? Our Governor is ignoring us? Can you be more specific? You're right, it will eventually will even out.

      @@livinginfl Does this native Floridan have to explain this to you? Low taxes, but low quality services. Yes, your Governor, I presume that you are MAGA, probably from the midwest who retired to The Villages. I get it, angry old people. I totally understand. My family came to Florida before the Civil War so, I know something or two about Florida. DeSantis, a self loathing closeted HOMOSEXUAL spends more time tearing people down, taking corporate money. How is the insurance market in Florida? The water? The red tide? The traffic? The health care for elderly people like you? So many OLD MAGA people are always so angry. Frankly, I get a kick out of it. Hope that if Trump is reelected, he does not take away your SSN and Medicare? He''ll continue my tax cuts and in other words, hell take the $$$ from your and put in in the pockets of multi millionaires like me and billionaires at your expense. Enjoy the Sunshine State suckers.

      @kennixox262 Florida has the 2nd highest net inbound migration in the nation, right behind Texas to the tune of more than 200K per year. Nowhere is the same as it was in 1972! LOL!
