I've been watching lots of pvp youtubers and most of their videos are basically "this pokemon is insane!! crazy broken" etc and all but you are by far THE BEST I've ever seen. Not only you have this amazing series but also you explain in depth about the team that you are using and all the matchups/tactics. Thanks for putting out such content.
Great tip, well explained particularly with how to reduce your disadvantage. Am sure that others have leveraged it on me to cause me to question "how did i lose that battle?" Now i know how. I'm also guilty of letting the faint timer tick down even if i don't need to, so your tip is helpful to know when not to do this.
I have a question? What kind of a monster dislikes these videos? These are by far the most useful PVP videos out there. Even stuff I know, it helps the way you walk through it all.
Great video! Would love to see a video about counting opponents moves with tips for when the animations aren't shown (e.g. when they switch in or otherwise). I've miscounted many times trying to guess whether 0/1/2 fast moves weren't shown when the opponent switches in.
Great content. This is the type of stuff that makes me improve as a battler. Could you do a video on fast move damage and the advantages and disadvantages of each move duration. I.e dragon breath v shadow claw v charm v volt switch v incinerate? There's lots of nuances with each move that's good to know
You have to switch immediately or as fast as you can, thats my problem as well, often times Im locked into a fast move and even though Im pressing my pokemon to switch it still registers as a fast move.
Good question, once it is out of sync the one way to get it back is to just spam charge moves. For example if you really need switch timer back in sync you want to throw two body slams at an awak instead of a bulldoze
The advanced strategy is picking a team, sticking with it, and learning the matchups. Unfortunately for me that's grasshole as since I've started content creating I haven't been able to play more than 50 games with the same team 😔

Thank you for the kind words, im just hoping to put out some content for those who already do all of the basics!
The match at 7:26 is a thing of beauty. Great video as always!
Very well explained. Those alignement dependent pokemon like Vic and Bastiodon are very good models to visualise the effects of this. Thank you!

Yeah lots of people are guilty of that even at the highest levels of gameplay!
There's always little things that people can do to improve

People who don't want others to learn these advanced strategies 😂
@@PvPSteve yeah I suppose. But like if you're good enough then you don't have to worry about them in your ELO bracket.
ppl how get triggered by seeing shadow victrebel and hate others for the pokemon they use probably
Appreciate the kind words and glad you enjoy the content!
Great video as always and free cat cameo too! next topic suggestions for sure advanced move counting and also team building!!
Keep the videos coming. Thanks for it
Thanks for explaining things so well :)
Good info, thanks for the video!
Great video Wallover!

Counting is definitely on my radar. There are plenty of videos about counting already but it's just so important!
Noticing this has been the biggest reason for getting legend this season when previously only getting 2600 range
as always, nice video! and thanks for the info!
Great video! Keep em coming!
great video, good perspective.
Waiting for this video 👌🏼
Great video!!!

I could definitely look into that in the future!!
Just passing through to say hi, good content, I'll need to get more prepared since I'm still stuck in 2300 points :/
Nice one, I always lose 1turn when I switch into bad leads any way to solve it?
It's supposed to happen each time. Only way it does not occur is when the opponent lags a turn at the start of the match I think.
It seems inconsistent, sometimes I lose a turn and sometimes I don't. I have no idea what causes it, sorry 😔
thanks! it would be very useful to reach veteran :)
Thank you for the video.
Edit: Just finished the video, this happens AGAINST me more often then I can force switch sync back. How do I reclaim sync?

So there isn't really any way to tell how far out of sync since the only thing you can see in the game is if you can switch or not, correct?
Correct. Just like counting moves it's something that you need to try to keep track of in the heat of battle!
If you switch first you can judge based on your own switch clock. So if when they swap yours is 1/2 over then they are exactly opposite
does advanced strategy include playing grass hole off stream?
