Loved my Durango RT 2011 fully loaded...but with that said 13yrs with basically the same body got old...definitely needs a whole new body...one plus is you should always be able to find body parts for it.
These are going to hold value very well I love mine had it for about 2 weeks it’s really a beast.. no more hemis after this year I’m hearing as well. The redesign is going with a smaller engine. But yeah I agree with you 100% love the looks the ride in normal mode is so so smooth and that sport and track are fun to use only downside is the mileage I’m around 12.8 mixed highway and local but all in all I’m so happy with this thing
Gas mileage comes with the territory. You’ll probably save a grand or so per year if you buy a boring Honda pilot or Toyota Highlander but if you are going to already spend around 50k for this used, money shouldn’t be an issue anyway. This thing is sweet. One of the best trucks out there!!

Since you have the adaptive headlamps, I'm guessing you have an R/T Premium. Regarding the size of the vehicle, my current vehicle is a 2015 Ford Expedition XLT (non-EL) with 3.5 Ecoboost V-6. I've compared the basic dimensions of the Expedition with a new Durango and I was quite surprised. The Expedition is 6 inches longer, 6 inches wider, and 5 inches taller than the Durango. But, here's the weird thing. The Durango's wheelbase is almost an inch longer than the Expedition's!
It is an R/T Tow N Go. In 2021, they only offered it in the R/T Tow N Go package I believe. That changed in 2022 with the addition of the regular R/T and R/T plus group. This would be most similar to the plus group. The only thing this is missing is the rear tv’s and the alcantara headliner. I love this truck so much. It’s not overly fast where you are going to get a ticket, but it’s fast enough to enjoy it! And the sound is second to none
@@pcgcgarage You are correct. I forgot that Dodge/FCA/Stellantis rearranged some options. Don't know about 2022, but I have the Stellantis product info document for the 2023 Durango. On the 2023s, the Plus package on an R/T includes sunroof, 10.1 U-connect display, Alpine audio, LED fog lamps, LED aux low beam, LED turn signals, Nappa leather seats, power tilt/telescope steering column, heated first and second row, vented first row, seat memory, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Premium package has all Plus package features plus Advanced Lane Assist, rainsense wipers, Lane Departure Warning, Harmon Kardon audio, auto high beams, premium interior trim.
Had a R/T and it was a good commuter minus the gas mileage, it was just too slow. Got an SRT Durango now and it’s acceptable. Yes, old tech but good tech. I’d recommend avoiding the 3.6 and 5.7 powered models and going only SRT trim.
SRT’s are nice, but they drink up too much gas. You may find yourself going to a gas station a lot more than you do with an RT. Plus they’re so high maintenance parts may cost damn near an arm and a leg…and let’s not leave out the insurance for them. The RT might not be that fast but it’s easier on the pockets.
@@Durango1991real world the difference in MPG for me was 1.7 mpg. I always carry a warranty on my cars so that’s a non issue and a clean driving record my insurance went up 6 bucks a month from the R/T to the SRT. Honestly I’d never buy an R/T again, but I understand the cost thing, otherwise I’d have the SRT Hellcat…
RT is slow and SRT is acceptable? What world are you living in? Yes the RT isn't a fast vehicle but not slow either. As for the SRT, I like how a sub second car to 100 km/h is classified as acceptable to you.
@pcgcreviews6760 I listened to the Harmon in a regular Durango RT and sounds good...This Alpine with 525 watt amp sucks!!! Says soundwoofer doesn't play all options and even with volume at 16 with some songs suck for bass and such but great updates thank you

The alpine system with surround sound sucks..Don't even have to have it loud like volume in 20s suck as speakers sound blown but brand new
The Harmon kardon in this is a hell of a lot better than the harmon kardon in my ram for some reason. The kicker in my srt is the best by far
