    I have no use for this video as I'm not even old enough to drive but I still managed to enjoy and understand the whole video :D

      I had more fun than I thought I would making this video, too. But I’m pretty stoked on it, cause I’m sure it will help some people year after year with this job😅👌🏻

    I used to love watching my Dad do DIY mechanical repair’s around the house, and inside the garage!

      For sure, Dad At Work is kind of a magical thing, seems like no matter how much you learn, they always know the best way to get something apart, or back together 💯

    Funny that you posted this today, I just got done servicing my axles and upgrading the springs. No Coast prep has begun!!

      That’s the reason I was doing this job, too! See you there, dude 🤙🏻

    I'd like to see more content like this! Thanks for sharing the tool spreadsheet as well.

      Glad the spreadsheet worked! I usually put the links to everything in the description but that seemed like a pain in the ass so I tried a new approach with the spreadsheet. I think that’s way easier to consume even though you have to click off platform to do it 👍🏻

    Very well made video, don't own a trailer yet, but saving this for later when I purchase a used one

      Trailers are pretty strong and simple, definitely something you can buy used and do this plus brakes and springs & links and basically be refreshed to 100%. I did the same thing and am happy with the outcome & cost saving 👌🏻

      This is going to be one of those “slow burn” videos, not getting too many views initially but I think it’s a damn good one on the subject and unless I e totally missed on the title and thumbnail I think it really has the potential to help people out for years to come. Like, as long as UA-cam exists haha.
      Good luck on yours, when the time comes! 🙌🏻

    Awesome DIY, have you ever changed out the shackles and bushings before?

    • @KameTrick
      @KameTrick  Рік тому +1

      Thank you! I’ve watched a video on it, but haven’t changed those yet, no. If and when, I’ll probably film that as well 👏🏻

      @@KameTrick I'd love to see that. I too have an open car hauler and recently spent a lot on a shop doing these things. In future the DIY option is the better way. Love your content!

    • @KameTrick
      @KameTrick  Рік тому +1

      @@mostlyuselessgarage out of curiosity, what did your shop charge for that job? My local shop quoted $50 labor per hub + parts for the job I did. What wasn’t terrible all things considered, but since they won’t be there for me on the side of the road if I have a bearing failure I need to be able to DIY with the tools I have on hand 💯

      @@KameTrick had a bunch of items done to the trailer so I'm not sure of the individual cost for the hubs. In hindsight I should gone DIY for exactly the reason you mention.
